Maison La Plage Grove

Came here for a family wedding. It was a beautiful day. Absolutely gorgeous views and ambience. Local restrictions on numbers of chairs allowed ( we had 24) made it difficult for many who were frail. I think the rules should be better in this regard. Very poor signposting meant many guests got lost.. hired cab insisted on dropping us off at the other end of town ( including our 92 yr old guest) Be prepared for scanty clad beach goers everywhere to add to the atmosphere 😀 😎

Maison La Plage is a popular wedding ceremony location with beautiful Noosa Main Beach views. The steps leading down the grassy area allow a bide to make a grand entrance. Most couples set up their ceremony so the beach is behind them, but there are two other variations which are worth considering and they can create beautiful photo opportunities.

One option is to have the sun behind the bride and groom, creating beautiful backlit photographs. This means that the beach is to the side of the guests and couple.

The second option is to turn right after walking down the stairs and have a wedding ceremony set under the trees. This can create unwanted shadows in your wedding photos so this option must be planned carefully.

Obviously the third option is to have the beach behind the bride and groom. Most of the day, this sidelights the bride and groom for their photos, but apart from the walk down the aisle, the photographer has loads of room to move, while not interrupting the natural flow of the ceremony and great photographers can make this work.

This is a stunning location but bride and groom's must be aware that it is a very opened location. Many tourist like to have a little stickybeak. If you're okay with that, then it is a top Noosa wedding ceremony location.

This spot can hold 200 guests and there is plenty of room for a little table of refreshments to be set up.

As a Noosa wedding photographer, I enjoy photographing at this location and it provides many beautiful bridal photo options within a very short walk. Opposite this site, there is a fantastic choice for family photos as well.

Maison La Plage is heaven! Where else can you get a beautifully manicured garden on the absolute ocean front! It’s magic!
