We’re Asian and we’ve been craving Asian food the entire trip. This place cooks authentic Chinese dishes that we would consider very delicious even compared to where we came from. All dishes were fantastic. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for Asian food in Tasmania. 5 stars.

Wow. I'm no expert on Chinese food, but this is the best I've ever eaten. So different and so much better than the average Chinese takeaway. Very highly recommended. I particularly enjoyed the hot and spicy fish hot pot and the mapo tofu. Very spicy and very flavourful. Everything is also very reasonably priced. Give it a try and be prepared to be impressed!

Authentic Chinese Sichuan food Moth-watering spicy food. It is not looks any Chinese style from outside but when you come in and taste the food just make you feel that you eat in China. Recommend for someone who love spicy and hot food. Friendly staff and very reasonable price. Will come back.

Have eaten here a dozen times. Always delicious. Only really ever ordered from the "traditional" side of the menu; I love the fresh flavours and the heat of the "spicy" dishes. Sometimes a bit oily, but it is part of the flavour. Decent servings for the price, makes it affordable. Will keep coming back.

Excellent and delicious! Choice of Chinese dishes we are accustomed to or many very authentic Sichuan dishes, wonderful we will be back!

I'd have to agree with comments here, really has been the best Chinese food we've had in Tasmania in our 2 weeks here so far, and surprised to find it here in the quiet outskirts of Launceston! It rivals the better Chinese restaurants we've tried in Sydney, San Francisco and New York.

Their menu is limited for a good reason, I think, because they focus on doing a small number of things very well, with very few staff!

Owners were very nice people even though they were super busy. I wish more locals and visitors alike can try out this place.

Really authentic sichuan Chinese food! The place looks quiet sometimes but the food is really delicious. Reasonable price :) I'd definitely be back soon!

Don't be fooled by the exterior and the location. Some seriously good Sichuan food here.

Hands down the best Chinese food we've had since moving to Launceston four years ago. Our delivery order was quick, piping hot and the beef and pork dishes were flavourful and very spicy. Eternally grateful to the friend who recommended we eat here !

Very impressed with the quality of the food. They serve 2 menus, I would recommend to try their traditional menu. Their traditional dishes are indeed authentic and they did serve quite a few Asian customers when we were dining. They are also very accomodating to our diet requirements as we are vegetarian and we prefer the dishes not too spicy. We feel very lucky to have such authentic Chinese food in Launceston, they are certainly not just serving the standard Chinese dishes for western.

We read recommendations of this restaurant online and very impressed by the food we got served. I think this is probably the best Sichuan restaurant in Tasmania, and on the top of the listing for recommendations.
The owner is also so lovely and almost so humbled.
We didn't take any photos, the food was so good and we finished all so quickly.

Wowee!!! By far the best and most authentic Chinese food in Launceston. The menu has two sides, one side is legit Szechuan dishes that do not hold back on the spice and other side is a bit more tame dishes but still super delicious. We will be back for sure.

This is undoubtedly THE best representation of Sichuan Chinese food in Launceston. Everything else pales in comparison, as they have "westernised" their menu. I get that it's not for everyone, but if you truly want to experience real Chinese food, you will get it here.
