A fabulous evening meal with lovely staff and delicious food.
The menu has a few different items.
I had Pollo - beautiful stuffed chook breast with avocado (the breast was so succulent with crispy skin on top). My wife had baked avocado with seafood on top-yummo!!!

The food is really nice here. And I’m actually surprised by the portion size. We can’t hardly finish one main with two heads. And the pizza like bread is just amazing! Really nice and friendly staff here, 100% lgbtq friendly.

Smokey bbq pork ribs fell off the bone and so succulent. Definitely a winner and must go back to have again if I get the chance.

We had dinner at The Prickly Cactus on a Tuesday night. It was booked out. The meals came out after a short wait time and the pricing was reasonable. Portion sizes were spot on and the meals were delicious. The kids meals were bigger than we expected as well. The staff were friendly and efficient. We have no problems recommending this restaurant for dinner.

Mate and I went for a feed and the food was delicious. Great selection to choose from and there's one hell of a drink list to choose from.

Will be back in the near future.

Just had dinner here....so delicious....had the cob loaf and burrito bowl....yum....The staff were friendly and very efficient...Would definately eat here again.

Great food and didn't go home hungry. We shared an starter followed by a main each , however we couldn't finish. Well worth going.

We got there early, the doors weren't even open yet. Happy waiting outside until they were open. They opened the door apologising that they weren't ready yet. We were truly happy waiting but they were super quick service, friendly staff. Food was amazing and cooked so quickly. 10/10 recommend.

My family and I had walked into the restaurant after the kitchen had closed and were greeted by the very friendly staff and the owners. They had gone back to the kitchen to fire up the grills and were more than happy to accommodate us. Highly recommend Prickly Cactus, awesome food and amazing staff and owners.

Loved this place! We tried the cactus bread which was tortillas with amazing tomato sauce and generous sprinkle of cheese melted on top, I even dare to say it is better than a Margherita pizza! Please do yourself a favour and start with one of these! For mains I had the sizzling fajita in chicken and prawn, the chicken had a lovely smokey savoury flavour, it was charcoal grilled to perfection. The prawns were big and juicy. It was amazing with the piping hot rice, wrapped in a DIY home made tortilla and condiments. Highly recommend trying this.
The pork ribs for us were a bit disappointing, the meat was a bit tough and chewy, the taste was bland but the bbq sauce it was slathered in gave the meat flavour. The wedges seem to have been cooked and left out for a while before the ribs were ready so they were a bit cold when they were served. It’s okay though! Looking forward to try a burrito and avocado mariscos next time!
PS make a booking if you can! This place gets busy!

We visited on Wednesday night without booking but they welcomed us very friendly. I asked if we were able to bring a birthday cake and they happily accepted our request :). The food was great and the portion was generous. But what I liked the most was the friendliness of the waitstaff :) Super friendly and smiling all the time. Thank you so much!
