A very personal place for myself, Being 5th Generation Joondoboori I am a direct blood decent from Kal-Ma-kuta. For those that don't know there is another mural/place of recognition Just in the middle of bribie Island road under the old fig tree which was retained.

Beautiful rest spot to have a picnic lunch and watch the scenery on the Bribie Passage. Has one picnic table and also public toilets, with plenty of parking. Looks like it's a popular spot for travelers to park for the day too. Nice variety of bird life and no midges at the time we were there, but it might be a different story at low tide.

A beautiful stopover on the way to Bribie Island that looks across the channel that separates the island from the mainland. Great view, good fishing for whiting and flathead and a place of peace. Turner's camp is the love story of a European pioneer, Turner, and a local indigenous girl who met and fell in love and lived life together near that location.
