Light Years - Noosa

We were so pleasantly surprised by our dining experience last night!
After being turned away from a venue across the road due to our one year old daughter not meeting their liquor license, we tried our luck at Light Years.
Being a weekend at a popular venue, we knew our chances were slim. However, the staff went above and beyond to find room for us, despite a booking, baby and all! We were offered 3 different seating options as well as a highchair.
Our families needs were accommodated for, through the duration of our dinner. Our baby was engaged with and even offered her own drinking cup.
The meals were absolutely phenomenal and will be highly recommended.
Thank you to all staff who made our evening such a pleasant, positive and deliciously memorable one!

Highly recommend the Chefs Selection - we were able to try so many of their delicious options with that. The flavours for each dish were so divine.
Service was fantastic.
Lovely option seating for balmy nights.
Dog Friendly outdoors - suggest booking as it got busy.

A wonderful birthday lunch. The food was fabulous and the cocktails hit the spot. Make sure you have the Sago dessert - amazing flavours.

Wow wow wow, what an incredible dinner! Wagyu beef, fried chicken bow buns, duck pancakes and the pork belly are a must!! Staff are so friendly and accommodating we will definitely be back on our next trip 😀

We had a wonderful dinner at Light Years. The food was superb as was the service and would recommend you give it a try if visiting Noosa. Stand outs were the bao buns, dumplings, grilled prawns and pork belly.

This was a first time try. Virginia was the best server and hands down the key to unlocking the menu potential. Was very impressed by the food and the service. 5 star experience!

Had a great time with my extended family. Food and service was great. We had the primo and it was delicious the only downside was the desert in my opinion. Overall a great experience for the whole family.

The Chef's Selection (Vegan version) was incredible. I was sure they'd made a mistake and given us the more expensive Primo tasting menu because there was so much food, but no! Everything was delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Visited with my boyfriend and had the most amazing night. Staff were so accommodating and the food was incredible!!! Would 100% recommend ordering the pork belly bao buns and the miso corn. Absolutely to die for.

The cocktails are fabulous and the food is delicious, especially the pork belly bao buns😋😋. Wait staff were very very good and the restroom is funky. Great experience, we’ll be back again.

I’m always skeptical about Asian fusion but I was wrong about Light Years.

We ordered the truffles mushroom dumplings, pork belly bao bun, kingfish ceviche, crispy skin chicken, fish curry, papaya & cabbage slaw and Asian greens. Liked every dishes except the dumplings. There was none truffle flavour and the wrapper was very flimsy and soggy.

Service was quick given it was a busy Sunday night. Staffs were friendly and helpful with the menu.

Price was reasonable and portion size was normal. We were happy and full, cost us less than the Feed Me $69 per person with drinks.

I’m happy to go back again.

We loved the friendly vibe from staff & the food was definitely something tri brag about. It was so good that we even recommended it to fellow travellers. We had the Pork belly, steamed rice & Papaya salad and it was amazing! They’re Lychee cocktail was also one of the best I’ve ever had! Thank you for a great dinner :)

We enjoyed a chilled birthday lunch for my 18 year old son today . The food was delicious, cocktails amazing and the service was 5 star. With two teenagers and a Nana with dementia at the table, going out for dinner can sometimes be tricky but our amazing waiter explained the menu so comprehensively and with such passion we couldn’t wait to eat and we weren’t disappointed!

Brilliant experience from beginning to end. Food interesting and beautifully created. Staff fun and informative. Wonderful little booth to sit in and enjoy our meal. So excited to have finally dined here. We look forward to coming back and have already spread the positive word across our friends. Now just come to Sydney Light Years!

Amazing food and atmosphere. A must do when in Noosa. The pork belly bao buns and the duck pancakes were exceptional.

Loved the food and the experience. Everything was so well balanced, flavourful, not overly sweet or salty nor was anything bland or strange. It was quite perfect. Well done on the food. My partner and I got the chefs feed me menu for the variety and we were stoked from the first entree - the kingfish ceviche. It was so yum! The baos, crab dumpling, fish curry, cauliflower, pannacota were all outstanding.
The wait staff were friendly.
Best restaurant in Noosa for us so far and one that will be very hard to top in my opinion. Maybe top two best meal this year. I’m seriously considering coming back within the same trip.

Really good Asian style food. Outstanding Spicy Korean style chicken with Bao bun. Good cocktail list. Staff were attentive and well paced delivery of meals. It's very good, very popular, make sure you book to avoid disappointment.
