Lake Manchester Day Use Area

We walked the 18km trail that circumnavigate the lake. Make sure you do it clockwise it saves the best bits to the end.
It is a steep hike in sections so take plenty of water and prepare for climbs a descents I would have liked walking poles on a few of the downs.

One shelter with a gas BBQ and several tables. Water is available but it is not suitable for drinking. Lots of lawn for picnics. Keep an eye out for kookaburras , magpies and butcher bird who will try to steal a meal. Clean toilets are nearby. 2km of good gravel road before you arrive at the day use area.

Beautiful spot. Nice place to barbecue. Good walking too.

Just had a great Fathers Day with the Family, went for a walk and will be back to do the trails on my mountain bike

Really lovely place for R&R. It was quiet in the morning with most people parking to head off walking around the lake - 18kms. The walk can be a bit brutal with lots of ups and down. Great training walk!

This is the take off point for the lake Manchester loop. Toilets are handy and always seems to be enough parking available for all who are using the area.

Love this circuit, but be wary of how steep the fire trails can be on the western side.

Love going out here for walks

Was a great track. Challenging enough to get the heart pumping but with enough flat walking to recover before the next challenge.

Great place for quite picnic and lots of room to run around.

It's a car park, It has clean Toilets.
