What an amazing place! It might look a bit dull and a bit old but, the food is just amazing! Highly recommended. It’s like the tardis. Small from the outside but inside it’s amazing like their food. Absolutely a must visit restaurant. Lovely staff too.

📝: Been missing Asian food after coming back from holidays, so we headed to Warong Mummy in Springvale for some tasty Malaysian food last week. They’ve got a selection of food on the bain marie, as well as made-to-order dishes from the kitchen as well.

❤: Food here was delicious and flavourful. The portions were huge as well, we couldn’t finish it on our own! I chose to get the 🍚 Mixed Rice Combo, where I picked my own dishes to go with rice. Hard to pick my favourite between the 🌶🐟 Fish Sambal and 🥩 Beef Rendang since both were so delicious 😍

This is one of those place where you walk in and it immediately takes you back to Malaysia. Their mixed rice combo has got an amazing wide range of choice, very delicious and reasonably priced. You’ll get that malay rock music playing in the background, truly brings out the best of atmosphere. Top that up with genuine friendly service makes this my go to place for authentic malay cuisine.

Amazing curries all displayed beautifully! Perfectly spiced and full of flavour. Serving sizes are massive and with excellent value for money. Love how they drench the curry sauce onto the fragrant rice! The owner is very nice and helpful.

Very small cozy Malaysian restaurant, with great variety of food to choose from. It was amazing and delicious, staff was friendly. Will definitely recommend them.

I have been to this restaurant many times. It never fails to impress. From the curry to the fish to the soup to the tea. Don’t hesitate, just go and enjoy!

My second favourite thing about this place (next to the food) is the manager. He runs that place with a smile and the kindest attitude. It makes me want to come back. Even when we confused the kitchen with our order they just wanted to make it right. So kind. So generous. I leave grateful and happy

The most authentic Malaysian restaurant in Melbourne. Their nasi kerabu is top tier, couldn’t have been any better.

We've found a new favourite in this restaurant. We went here for lunch and had the pomfret fish curry as well as the stingray and chicken. It's a large serving and the food is very authentic and tasty. We were so hungry we forgot to take a photo of one of the plates until we started eating it.
This one is a keeper. We have since come back and also tried their fried chicken. So delicious.

One of the best for nasi padang in Melb ❤ Worth the drive to Springvale for this.

The best Malay food in town! As authentic as eating in Malaysia (if not better). Service is always exceptional! Nothing is too much of a fuss. Sizes are generous, superbly delicious. Have been coming genre for years and will continue on.

We came here after a great game of badminton. Everyone is hungry! Lucky there are a free table and order our food. The dishes look delicious and also taste great. Look at my pictures, the portion is generous.

The ambience is cosy (wouldn't wanna call it small) and the chat between the staff and customers in their local language, bring the feel of being in Malaysia.

Depending on time of the day this place could be packed but worth the short wait (if you are not extremely hungry).

What a friendly place. The people who are serving are very friendly and patient explaining the menu. Generous portions, lots of menu options and fair price. Not spicy for me, but flavourful. The have more seating at the back. Definitely will be back!

If you are looking for some authentic Malay Malaysian food, check out this place. The Nasi Kerabu is nice! Portion is generously sized and reasonably priced. Those that fancy some local kuihs, there are some selections you can choose from as well on the side table.To top it off, the customer service is great as well!

Very authentic Malaysian food with lots of choices. Nasi Kerabu is the best in this restaurant. The whole dish is very traditional and very tasty. The curries are very famous and lots of choices too, including different fish. Their Teh Tarik also very nice. Their sweets have heaps of varieties. This restaurant is quite small, very limited tables inside and outside. And it is always busy. This restaurant located on main street, very convenient with public transport. Walking distance from train station. Car parking nearby.
