Rhonda is an amazing host and very helpful. We arrived late any worried about food. She comforted us by offering preorders and the food was ready just in time. The rooms is nice and comfortable.

Great getaway location. Very clean, comfy beds, kitchen facilities. Can handle large or small groups.
The restaurant food was great quality and served with solid timing despite there being 19 of us in the group.
Thanks to the hostess and friendly staff who made our stay comfortable and fun!

Place was fantastic. We had a room in the lodge. Restaurant meals were great, host and staff all very nice! Rooms well equipped, and the shared spaces are great (fire place, lots of couches, well equipped kitchen). Grounds are lovely too. Would happily stay again.

Beautiful peaceful location with a dog friendly studio cabin that has its own enclosed yard! Everything I needed for a comfortable 4 night stay. Easy drive to the Porongurups or Stirling ranges. Restaurant at the lodge open for dinner on Friday & Saturday nights.

Fantastic location overlooking Stirling Ranges. The accommodation was very good. There are cottages and the lodge. We stayed in the lodge. Very quiet. Clean and well looked after. Shared kitchen which was very modern and large with dishwasher. We were the only people using it. Three bars, restaurant, function centre all on 40 acres. This was a great find and 50 percent cheaper than Albany, where we also stayed in a tiny room near the road that had no kitchen and no views and was twice as expensive. The owner was lovely and so helpful. Cant' recommend highly enough. If you have kids it is a no brainer.

Great location overlooking Stirling Ranges. Quiet. Owner met us and showed us to room. Very friendly and helpful. Enormous shared kitchen with great facilities. This place is amazing. Half the price of Albany. So many facilities. Bars, restaurant etc

Highly recommend for a country escape. Very comfortable rooms in the main lodge & the most gorgeous rustic little restaurant where you can enjoy a drink & lovely dinner. There was something special about being out in the country with access to a restaurant.
Very friendly , helpful staff & Rhonda the owner was very accommodating with our last minute booking.

Very quiet except for the birds which is quite pleasant. Spacious room, clean and tidy. Friendly down to earth staff. Loved my stay there.

Comfortable and clean to stay, we booked the room in the evening at the same day because the previously reserved hotel was canceled, it was late when we arrived but the owner still warm welcome us, she is so friendly and helpful!! So lucky to find this nice place to stay, peace and beautiful.

Myself wife and family friend stayed in the Green house very nice. both rooms have queen size bed and single... loungeroom area really gives you that country home style feel.
Great price for value got it spot on for pricing. Fire place brings that Country feel
Customer Service is beyond 5 stars should have 10 star option . This place is under new ownership and they have done amazing things to the area and views from our chosen accommodation pretty amazing also.
Would highly recommend this place for relaxing peaceful holiday. Home away from home.
Food is 110% A Grade 10 star I would go as far to say Michelin star worthy and great atmosphere Family Friendly and designed for all occasions. If your travelling to Mt Barker then you can't go past this place if you do then your missing out on the best experience of your life.

Great weekend away with friends, stayed in the blue cottage with amazing views of the mountains. Rooms are abit dated but superbly clean, with everything you need, beds were comfy and bed linen was divine Food in the restaurant was delicious. Thanks to the new owners Rhonda and Tom for a fab time, we will be back

Haven't stayed here but as we live not far away have tried the food a few times. Food is good and not expensive, service is pretty quick and staff friendly.
Location is great, with Stirling Ranges as short drive away, and all the other things the Plantagenet area has to offer. Easy access to Albany and Denmark too.

Excellent place to stay for our Bluff Knoll hike. Love the ambience, serenity, kitchen, lounge, super hospitable staff and owners.

Most of all, the restaurant is open on Fri and Sat, but you can pre-order for other days - Subject to agreement between you and the owner. The sirloin steaks, chips, salads, veg tarts and many other foods are of very high quality with good price.

Highly recommended and one the best places we've ever stayed!

Just spent one night here in the lobby rooms. All is kept very clean and provided with many soaps, towels ect. Owner was extremely friendly. Strong wifi and great common room and kitchen. Was a perfect overnight stay for going to Bluff Knoll the following morning

Had a fantastic 5 night stay in THE BUSH HUT, it was so quiet and peaceful exactly what we needed to unwind, with great views. Rhonda and staff were very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed a lovely dinner on Saturday night and an amazing Sunday morning breakfast in the restaurant.

Good spot for our adventure climbing Mt Toolbrunup. Underestimated the hike and took longer to reach back then expected. Owner was very accomodating with the late checkout.

Had dinner here the night before. Was yum! Staff was very friendly!

Kendenup cottages and lodge is off-the-beaten-track. It is located in a rural setting with quiet surroundings. The facilities are rustic in appearance but very modern and comfortable inside. Your hosts are friendly and welcoming and enjoy a good chat. In the evenings a number of locals pop into the restaurant for a drink or a meal. The rooms in the lodge are spacious and comfortable. If you're looking for a quiet getaway this is an ideal place.

The new owners are very friendly and approachable. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was pleasant. I would highly recommend staying here at the lodge for it has sensational views, peaceful environment, relaxed country interior with an amazing wood fire ! I'm really looking forward to coming back next year 😊

Fabulous stay at the green cottage - gorgeous to sit on verandah and look out at the mountains . Well stocked kitchen, wood already chopped ready to start a fire, comfortable beds and sofas, friendly staff at restaurant, good food. Good base to hike in the Stirling Ranges. Thanks for a great stay.
