Jonah’s Restaurant & Boutique Hotel

Had a spectacular birthday dinner for a really good friend. The food was amazing. The view from the balcony was perfect. This service was exemplary. The paired wines were superb. My only critique was although I’ve been here twice before and I was hoping to get a window seat, but unfortunately, we were not offered a window seat because they were already reserved for regular guests. Even then the view from the booth was still quite nice.

I honestly can’t think of anything that was lacking after staying and eating at Jonah’s. It was a first class experience. We plan on making the trip back just for breakfast. The welcome, the staff, the rooms, the food - it was all so good. A parting swim at the Whale Beach rock pool was the perfect end to a fantastic trip. Thank you Jonah’s.

I recently had the pleasure of filming a wedding at Jonah's Restaurant and Hotel, and I must say, it left an indelible impression on me. We had three children with us - ages 3.5, 3.5 and 1.5 and staff were so accommodating.
Every single thing we ate was phenomenal, very impressive wine list and all drinks were great.
The squid ink pasta was absolutely incredible - 11/10!

It was our first time going to dinner at Jonah's as we were celebrating a birthday. What an experience. It is a shame there is only 5 stars as we would give it 10.

From the moment we walked in, we were promptly greeted by staff who gave us the options for pre dinner drinks in the lounge or if preferred at our table. We chose to be sat at our table.

The view would be spectacular during the day (which we will come back to see) however our table still overlooked the garden which was immaculately presented.

Our wait staff came and introduced themselves and when we were ready walked us through the menu options. We did have some dietary requirements, which were absolutely no issue for both the wait staff and the kitchen to accommodate to our requirements.

We opted for the 3 course a la carte and the matching wines. The presentation of the food was nothing short of spectacular. I would highly recommend also going with the matching wines as that was an experience in itself.

I thought we would just be served the wines with dinner. Oh how wrong I was.

The sommelier told us of the origins of the wine that matched our each chosen dish as well as how it interacted with the various specific ingredients of our dish.
The information was provided in an insightful and down to earth manner.

Highly recommend for a special occasion if you are looking for something extraordinary.

Overall it was an amazing experience and we will be sure to return.

Usually I would take photos of the dishes to share however in this case a photo would not do the dishes any justice. You need to experience the flavours and presentation yourself to truly experience magic.

Flew in from Sydney and the Jonah shuttle picked us up for the 10 minute ride to the coastal cliffside location. Great views for outside balcony pics. Fabulous Food and excellent service. A real treat for our last day in Sydney.

Jonah's restaurant is really a spectacular experience all-round. From the delicious, fresh and beautiful food they serve, to the creative yummy cocktails and incredible wine pairings. Not to mention the stunning sea views, we could watch the waves there all day.

My boyfriend and I came for dinner and had the seafood platter for two, with a bottle of Pedralonga Albarino to share. The seafood was to die for, and the wine pairing absolutely made each bite and sip of wine worth savouring. We had incredible service from the wonderful Tom, Jana and Brendon, who made our night all the more special. A must on the Northern Beaches! We know we'll be back the next time we're in Sydney.

Enjoyed an exceptional stay with dinner and breakfast at Jonah's. The views are amazing, food was excellent and the service cannot be beaten. Hope I'm lucky enough to visit here again someday - highly recommended!

Unbelievably good food and beautiful views with exceptional service. The general manager oversees the finest detail and ensures everything and everyone has a memorable experience.
We dine here two to three times a year and is definitely at a higher quality than other places on the northern beaches.

The staff’s genuine friendliness and dedication to ensuring a seamless dining experience were evident throughout my visit.

There are not enough Stars available to truly do justice to Jonah’s. Excellent spotless accomodation. The restaurant is excellent the staff were excellent. This is a special place fur that special time. Highest of recommendations.

My friend had her 50th @ Jonah’s on Saturday & it was absolutely amazing venue, scenery was breathtaking of Whale beach & the food were all works of art! The service was impeccable & outstanding. All the waiters were polite. A shoutout to our waiter who was knowledgeable & I think his name is Mauro (Italian/European talk slim gent with dark hair in late 20’s). We even got a little complimentary box to take home. It’s been a long time I’ve been anywhere as lovely as this restaurant & we all really had a wonderful afternoon to remember! I certainly will be coming again! Kudos to the chef, staff & management!👏👏

While I didn't stay at the hotel, I believe the rooms are excellent. I can certainly recommend the restaurant. We spent a wonderful 4 hours there over lunch. The food was excellent, the service was exceptional. I could not recommend Jonah's more highly. It's a bit price but if you have the opportunity, get there.

Jonah’s is my favourite restaurant in all of Sydney. I honestly couldn’t fault the experience I had here. The food was specular, the service was sensational (and knowledgeable) and the views were picture perfect. When staff found out I was here celebrating my engagement (that occurred the morning that I attended) they went above and beyond and made the lunch even more special. I have been back since and again, a perfect experience. Keep up the awesome work!
