Super service….accommodating, efficient, friendly, and quick! Can’t beat the location. We opted to sit outside in the sun under blue skies and watched the yachts bobbing on the water.
Fabulous breakfast menu that didn’t disappoint. Delicious food and great coffee.

Top notch cafe! Beautiful location and fantastically accommodating staff. Had a couple of cafe staples - açai bowl and an exceptionally crispy and tasty beer battered barra🤤 Did i mention its also fully licenced? Perfect lazy weekend brunch spot🍸🕺

8 Knots has everything - location, great food, and above all, such wonderful people running it.
We've dined here a few times lately and the staff are just amazing looking after my elderly dad. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
Food comes out fast, and is superb value for the quality, especially the salads. They also have no problems coping with dietary issues.
The coffee is very good, and tea comes in a pot, with a proper cup and milk.
The tables mostly look back to the road, but right next to you is a small park with the perfect view straight up Pittwater to Lion Island.
There's a small amount of free parking out front, or paid council parking (free to locals).
A fantastic local gem.

8 knots is our favourite coffee haunt. The best coffee around, served in cafe or out on the wharf/Park to take in the morning sunshine overlooking Pittwater. A great way to start your day.
The friendly welcoming team makes it enjoyable to stay for breakfast or return later for lunch. The food is delightfully presented and my dietary requirements are easily accommodated. Highly recommended.

Always great coffee, delicious food with flexible options and friendly, accommodating service in a beautiful location near the water. This is one of my favourite cafés in Sydney.

Last time I visited, I ordered side options including salmon, mushrooms, spinach and an egg, to fit with my keto diet, and it was so thoughtfully and beautifully presented as well as delicious.

We've been going to Eight Knots for some years. Family, friends, everyone loves the place.
They greet regulars by name, remember what you like. They make the best coffee on the N. Beaches, the foods fantastic, even the view is spectacular.
We get the brekky wrap and share between two. It's huge and it's delicious. Lunches are great, all good.

So impressed with this cafe. The service is next level. The staff seem to be a great team & work super hard. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m on Pittwater.

I walked down and tried the apple and cinnamon muffin this morning (warmed), and it was so unbelievably good, I just had to leave this review. Optus is down and I can't call to request that you make these again next week, so I hope you see this.

Since moving into Bayview, was in search of best local coffee... this is it. As my local goto for my daily coffee I can't do without. Sunny, Rick, Neil and Saru serving up the best fresh food and coffee with personal service.

The staff at 8 Knots are wonderful- Saru, Vivek and Narendra always go above and beyond to make me feel welcome when I arrive on my morning walk and make a fantastic cup of coffee every time. Highly recommend!

This weekend I had the pleasure of dining at 8 Knots cafe in Bayview and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. From the moment I walked in, the exceptional customer service left me feeling welcomed and cared for. The breakfast with friends and the lunch platter boxes for us to take onto the boat were absolutely amazing . Each item was carefully prepared and beautifully presented. It was clear that the team at 8 Knots put a lot of thought and care into each dish. The cafe's atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to catch up with friends or simply relax with a good book. Above all, I appreciated the dedication to customer satisfaction displayed by the staff, particularly Sunny, he went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was nothing short of amazing. I cannot recommend 8 Knots cafe enough, and I look forward to my next visit. Thank you for a truly outstanding dining experience!

I regularly visit 8 knots, for two reasons the food is absolutely delicious! It’s reasonably priced, and the dishes are of high quality. Secondly the location, it’s pretty much on the water, so if it’s a nice day it’s the perfect spot to grab takeaway and sit by the water. I would highly recommend this for breakfast or lunch! Also worth noting I attended a birthday catered by 8 knots which they hosted on the grass next to the water. The team was so friendly and the event was highly memorable.

You can’t go past 8 Knots when visiting Bayview. There is always a large crowd getting their coffee fix and filling their bellies with yummy fresh food. Service is premium with each and every staff member friendly and accommodating. They are very customer service focussed and have strong management who also work the floor. Watching the team operate is like watching an F1 Team - Fast, efficient and professional. They use Campos coffee which is a firm favourite of many. Breakfasts are a real treat as are lunches. The wraps are so generous in proportions and have the finest of ingredients. The lunch time menu has a good range and the salads are always a highlight - tasty and filling. You can either eat there or get a take away and sit by the water’s edge and take in the views. You’ll love 8 Knots.

The staff are always so smiley and friendly. The avocado on toast is so tasty and the coffee is awesome.

Fabulous cafe! The staff are amazing and the food divine. It was a sunny winter day so I got takeaway and sat by the water. The blt stack with halloumi was so good, coffee was great (milklab almond milk) and I couldn’t resist some carrot cake.

The delicious food, tremendous food presentation, friendly service and awesome smiles you could ever hope to find on the northern beaches.. Or Sydney. Rick, Sun y and the team make 8 knots a place you want to return to again and again...
They also were the best coffee / caterer for a film set I was working on in the area.. Stellar service! ******
