Went here for a xmas lunch with the family, the ambience was spectacular with great views by the water, it made you feel very relaxed. The service, phenomenal, our waiter was very attentitive and friendly.

Food wise, we ordered a wide selection to really get a variety of flavours, but i was definitely feeling seafood (see food and eat it haha) that day and I honestly cant fault it. Wish the spanner crab pasta was on the menu, ive heard great things, but alas it was not on the menu (could be due to seasonality), so we opted for the prawn pasta instead.

Definitely order the honey peppers as an accompanyment with the main, it pairs so well.

Great drinks menu, plenty to choose from and recommendations are provided.

Prices are what you'd expect it to be for an establishment like this and location (some may challenge that).

We had a great time/experience and a stunning lunch with a view to start the holiday period.

So good we’ll keep on going back. Fine dining at its best. Food is exquisite, atmosphere is electric and service is the best. You would want to order everything. No matter what it is, is bound to be good. This is our second visit. Both for special occasions, my birthday.

Parking is available. Berts Bar is an elegant venue for special occasions. I wouldnt bring children. Most of the ctowd were mid 20s and up.

G’day! Bert's Bar and Brasserie is where it's at. Known to be well-travelled and quite the fan of top-tier establishments, I assure you that Bert's is simply smashing. A love child of high-class New York dining and relaxed Australian riviera, it's honestly an experience that resets the bar quite high.

Jump right into their menu and it will amaze you as much as the Sydney Harbor Bridge did when I first laid eyes on it. Their scrumptious beef is like a boomerang, makes you come back for more, while the fish is fresher than a snowflake on a Blue Mountains morning. And don’t get me started on the cocktails – they're as potent and skillfully concocted as a goanna's venom!\n\nThis isn't just a feast for the stomach folks, it's an absolute spectacle for the eyes too. The joint is chicer than an after-party at the Melbourne Fashion Festival, yet as chill as an arvo at Bondi Beach.

You don't have to be Crocodile Dundee to be treated like a VIP here – every customer enjoys service that's cheerier than a kookaburra at dawn. You feel valued, relaxed, and most importantly, ready for another helping of that sublime beef!

In conclusion, Bert's Bar and Brasserie is as good as striking gold in the Outback. As an elite reviewer with miles of travel and dining experiences, trust me when I say - this is an adventure you don't want to miss!

This place is a must visit, with great decor, amazing wait staff and superb atmosphere. Definitely worthy of any special occasions. They had all the classic food options and a killer wine list. The pate is the must have dish. The food was a 4/5 but the overall experience a 6/5!

A wonderful lunch at Bert's with our two daughters. Casual but very professional service. Our lovely server helped us decide how many courses to order to share. The maitre d' expertly filleted our fish at the table and later flamed a beautiful rum Baba. Pure theatre. Excellent cooking from open kitchen. Loved it all. Highly recommended.

Swanning into this venue couldn’t have felt more heavenly. Art deco glam meets modern chic with a tropical old world charm vibe. Designers nailed it. Having lived away from Sydney for over a decade, returning to this venue since the refurb took my breath away. Service was on point, wait staff exceptional and the cocktails so delish I literally wanted to order a bath of them and drink every last drop. Best night out in years and I’ll be proud to be calling this my local. Totally lit.

Like they had never closed! Thank you to the whole team for looking after us now that we are out of lockdown. Yet again a brilliant long lunch of wonderful food and and fantastic, attentive & knowledgeable staff in a beautiful setting. The hand picked mud crab was the standout for us and the caviar bumps are a great way to start. Probably our favourite overall restaurant experience in Sydney. Will be back whenever we can - definitely need to book the Mirage motel next door whenever you come unless you live close by - too far to taxi home!

Food was delicate with a ballet of different dishes, each being a delight for the taste buds.
I had a lovely non alcoholic cocktail which was an invite to travel, or to chill. The Garden.
Service was the next level. French heritage of savoir faire. I was fascinated by the discretion of the waiters, their professionalism and expertise. Blend of class and respect.
The decor and aesthetic makes you feel in an other century with a beautiful savoir vivre and art de la table.

Good environment, the food is excellent and delicious, the waiters are professional. I like the jazz music there the most. I feel I have returned to Shanghai in 1940, romantic and classy.

Took my mum here for something special with family for her birthday and definitely did not disappoint. Our waiter Tim offered flawless service, was so lovely and had exceptional knowledge. We ordered oysters to start which are labeled by region - lovely touch, followed by perhaps my favourite dish the anchovies in lemon pepper oil, served with fried bread - an absolute must! The crab linguine was just the right amount of indulgent , whilst the whole John Dory we chose for mains added the perfect amount of theatre to the meal (as it is filleted upon a trolly brought to your table). A chocolate tart to finish completed the absolute perfect lunch. Thanks for making my family feel so looked after.

Amazing venue and the service is excellent. Connor our wine waiter was so knowledgeable about the wines and looked after us very well. I can recommend this beautiful restaururant.

The service here was absolutely flawless. For a restaurant of such high calibre the staff we dealt with were extremely grounded and made us feel very comfortable. They were happy to explain anything we were unsure of. The food was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The environment was welcoming and the night was brilliant overall. We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our server was so friendly and cheerful. The steak was cooked to perfection. But what stood out among all the dishes we had was the Hapuka vol au vent. Fish was moist, well seasoned, and the other elements on the plate just complement each other.

Amazing dining experience. The most beautiful room, excellent service and top quality food... the perfect spot for a long lunch and a bit of luxury. Great value to be found on the wine list too. Excellent.
