Hi Tide Takeaway Avoca Beach

Absolutely delicious fish and chips! The batter was perfectly crispy, and the fish was tender and flavorful. The chips were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was impeccable. Highly recommend this place, workers were so nice!

My daughter & I are addicted to their homemade potato scallops. They’re so yum! Generally they’re thicker than other places and the batter is always so crunchy. The perfect ration of potato:batter.

Ordered the fish tacos and the Schnitty schnitty bang bang. The schnitty schnitty bang bang was great with the gravy and cheese! The fish tacos we got with the sweet Chili mayo - it was pretty good too. Staff were friendly! Was quite busy so the food took a while but trust me it’s worth it.

Snack pack was enough to feed 2. Chips were awesome, fresh battered prawns and fish were sensational. Didn't get a chance to try the calamari as my daughter ate both before I had a chance. Highly recommend.

This is the best food place in Avoca beach. Amazing service. Amazing staff. Would visit this place time and time again. The food is delectable and I love perusing through the menu and looking at the delightful delicacies. I absolutely loved talking to the staff and the beautiful owner, in which they create a comforting atmosphere. They always manage to put a smile on my face.

Been there twice , both times the seafood was great but the standout is the chips , probably the best chips I have ever had, forgot to add that the staff here are lovely and very friendly especially the girl at counter

I've been meaning to write a review for ages. A local beachside takeaway exactly the way it should be - The food is great, the staff are awesome and the prices are reasonable. The potato scallops are easily the best on the coast!

A fantastic family run cafe with excellent food which is always fresh and plentiful. Attentive staff and family members are alway keen to help, extremely cheerful and courteous. Wide range of options which offer good value for money in comparision to its peers. Close to beach and all amenities. Would highly recommend.

I love my burgers and travelled from Sydney just for this burger after I heard really good things about it. I can say it was worth the drive. 9/10 best burger I have had in a while and great hospitality

Best fish I've had for a long time! Crispy golden batter and the fish was fresh and moist.

Had the fish taco - decent sized piece of fish in each and crunchy spicy coleslaw.

We brought the family pack. At first were thinking it was a little expensive, but the QUALITY and QUANTITY made up for that.
Everything was crispy and tasty, not greasy. The calamari was tender and chips were the best. A delicious and generous serve of tartare sauce. No complaints here.

Stopped in with the family after a great day at our favourite beach and were overwhelmingly surprised to discover our new favourite takeaway destination. Best grilled Barra burger on the coast 5 stars for all food and service.

Best take away on the coast! Food is so fresh and delicious and the staff are lovely! Burgers and wraps are to die for! Fish and chips amazing! Then gelato for dessert! What a winner 👌🏽👌🏽 Will def be back!!!

Was a beautiful takeaway shop. Probably the best takeaway my family has had in a while. We also got the gelato afterwards which was juat as nice. The ladies were super friendly as well. Would definitely go there again.

Wanted to congratulate the new owners of this little takeaway ☺ The new decor is fresh, clean and inviting.
The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to provide a great service. We had wraps and shared the very generous chips, yum! All made fresh and they were happy to accommodate adding extras and picky eaters.

Omg try the deep fried mars bars, they are amazing. The burgers are the best to and not the mention the best potato scallops around.

The new owners, Rox and Kevin are awesome! Very friendly people and great service. We only called in to grab a coffee, however definitely will stop here for lunch next time, to try one of their delicious looking hamburgers, other customers were enjoying. Love the new decor too - very clean and fresh!
