A great place to stop and check out when you're in the area. Entry is a gold coin donation and it's an easy walk to the top.

It's always great to be back here to refill Muscat, which was produced by Harvey River Estate.

Returned here today as an adult to show my own kids the big orange and was surprised that I loved it just as much as I did as a child ❤.

Entry is through the winery and is a gold coin donation which goes to Telethon (so lovely to see that kindness). My kids loved the souvenir stress ball orange you could buy ($4.50).

The view over the orange orchard was absolutely beautiful! I loved how upstairs there were old black and white photos of the orchard (especially the one of the trees when they were very young).

It's an easy climb even for kids. There is a metal handrail all the way up the winding staircase and tall railing to keep them safe also. Upstairs the windows are secure (also clean and graffiti free which makes photos much easier).

There is a small seating area before the path to the orange which has a disabled toilet. As a bonus it is very close to Logue Brook dam so if you're camping there it's a quick trip to have a look.

It would be more awesome if you sold the orange juice as well

They have some lovely crafts to purchase, and the Port Wine tasting was delightful.

An amazing experience from what we’re low expectations, service was awesome, serving size was large for a wine tasting, albeit I am not convinced people should pay for wine tasting (insert arguments for and against internally here).
Views from the orange were great and there was colouring for my 6 yo while we tasted!
Will be back

Went there with no expections and got out with an amazing smile on my face. The wine tasting is probably the best one I ever had, the old Muscat and Tawny are delicious, the Sauvignon blanc Semillon and Montepulciano awarded for a clear reason! The girl that served us had been lovely, professional and friendly, couldn't ask for better.
I definitely recommend not to skip the tasting wine part, you would miss a lot of this beautiful place!

We love novelty stuff like the Big Orange and the climb up is fine for all fitness levels. The view is spectacular looking out over the Harvey Orange Estate. You will also get a bit of history from the photos in the viewing deck.

It's a big orange, no, it's a tower!
OMG! What a surprise!
It looks just like a big orange though. Honestly!
It's big, it's round and yes, it's orange.
But when you get near it, surely a reward for your bravery, you will see it's on big metal legs, AND THERE'S A LADDER!
Climb up and you will find its actually a tower! It has windows and everything!
I know right?
You are then subject to the mind splitting splendour of a view across the road and into the fields.
It can get a bit warm inside as its made of metal and other modern building materials. Maybe bring some water.

I'm even going to go as far as to say that, even if you hate oranges, you will still have a moderately OK time.

There's a shop on site that sells booze too.

I'm off for some therapy.

IT'S A TOWER! OMFG

The view from atop the tower with the big orange on top is beautiful. A worthwhile climb. The fact that it only costs a gold coin donation for telethon is even better.

Look, its a big steal bit of friut. I dont understand why this is not the Harvey shop, where you can buy oranges and cheese and juice. Instead its a try hard winery where you can buy expensive stuff. If i wanted that I would have bypassed Harvey. I didnt.

Great wine tasting. However would be better if tasting was free when a purchase was made.
