Harvey Hills Farmstay Chalets

It was a beautiful stay, especially for kids they loved feeding the animals in the farm. The view of the valley is beautiful, we enjoyed a walk in the valley every morning. The harvey dam is very close by which is a good place for bbq and a picnic. Evenings were fun sitting by the fire in the open with beautiful starry nights. Kids enjoyed their marshmallows while we enjoyed our coffee and dinner out in the open by the fire.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the picturesque surroundings and the warm hospitality that defines this hidden gem.

Beautiful farmstay with amazing views and in Sept the grounds are so lush and green. The kids enjoyed every bit of our stay. There was enough to do on the grounds (trampoline and we struck lucky by having rides on Richard's tractor) and they got up close to some of the animals during feed time. Owners Richard and Shaye are so lovely and friendly making our stay even more pleasant. We had a good weekend unwinding & relaxing in this lovely place.

What a great place to spend a weekend ! Relaxing place with spectacular views. Kids loved feeding the farm animals and the play area. Chalets were comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommend Harvey Hills Farmstay chalets and will definitely come back !

Many thanks to Shaye and Richie for a most enjoyable stay. Our grandchildren had a great break from suburbia and screens. Feeding the animals in the morning was a highlight with favorites soon chosen, the chooks, Molly the cow and Fruity one of the alpacas. The chalets have been updated since we were there last. (Several years ago) Furniture and fittings are modern and clean. The swimming pool was put to good use by my family.. One only needs bring food and personal gear for a relaxing break with a beautiful view. Many thanks.

Stayed at Harvey Hills Farm Stay in September, Had a fantastic time, Shaye was a great host & the kids loved feeding the Animals. I would recommend staying here, the views were amazing, such a beautiful property. We will be bringing back the extended family to stay for sure.

Harvey hills farm stay - where do you start ? What an amazing experience .
We have 5 kids from 11 down to 2 and they all loved it !
Luckily the owners Shaye and Richie had rescued a baby lamb and the kids got to bottle feed her on the first night such a great experience .
There are cows to feed , goats, chickens, rabbits , and kangaroos . We also got a tour of the farm on a small 4wd runabout.
Less than 10 minutes from the town centre , but you’d think you were further away being in the beautiful valleys and hills it’s pure bliss . We booked 4 nights and then booked another on the last day cause we didn’t want to leave !!!!
Definitely our new family getaway and can’t wait to come back .

It was our first family farmstay experience in Perth and we definitely had a great time in Harvey Hills Farmstay. We had the most amazing view of Harvey Hills and Harvey Dam right from our chalet’s balcony. My nearly 2 y/o son loved seeing animals walking around the farm and the fun animal feeding in the morning. The chalet we stayed in has a basic layout but cozy and adequate for our needs, the best thing was the 5 star view! Highly recommend!

This is our 3rd year here now and each time has been just amazing!
My two daughters absolutely loved feeding and playing with the guinea pigs,rabbits,chickens,ducks to name but a few.
This time of year was perfect for use of the pool also.
Narelle does a fantastic job here and is so friendly.
Will be back again for sures.

Highly recommend staying at Harvey Hills. The view is spectacular and it’s a very relaxing place to be.
The owners are lovely, our room was clean and tidy and we were surrounded by beautiful farm animals. Couldn’t ask for much more.
We will definitely be back!

I would personally recommend going in winter. You went in summer it wasn't bad at all, feeding the animals was a great experience for our Little ones. But it wasn't as green as expected and the fireplace would add a charm to it. Don't forget the point ride at the end of your stay. Have a BBQ in the area which has an amazing views.

Narelle was great. Every day starts at 8am with feeding the animals. At the end of the feeding the kids get into a trailer towed by a tractor for a ride around a paddock. As well as farm animals there are kangaroos and an abundance of bird life. The grand kids (5 and 8 years old) had a wonderful time.

Beautiful view, very quiet, serene and relaxing weekend away. Communication with the booking was simple and easy. Highly recommend for a simple getaway with the kids.

Love the place . Richard and Shaye are amazing people . I felt like home . Beautiful and healthy animals . Chickens and peacocks were moving freely . My son didn’t want to come back . Kids would love it . An absolute relaxing place.

Great spot for the family. Beautiful district to explore too. The owners are so nice and great entertainment with the kids on the farm. The bunnies are a favourite with the kids.
