Love stopping by at Kaffe 38 on our daily ride. Dee's coffee is the best on the Central Coast. Her home made gourmet pies are delicious and we just love the home-made blueberry/raspberry or mixed Berry muffins. They are amazing served hot from the oven. The top is crunchy and lots of fruit. The rhubarb and apple crumble is also a great favourite. Dee always remembers our orders and her customers are like family and good for a chat. Highly recommend.

We hadn't been for nearly a year...and Dee remembered both our names AND every detail of our order. How's that for service! Been back just about every week since we rediscovered how awesome this place is.

Updated dec 2021: last week as we cycled by, we grabbed a takeaway egg and bacon (perfect crispiness) wrap with coffee. We hadn't been for ages and Dee remembered my name. I love that. We walked behind the cafe to chow down at couche park. This is another hidden gem, just off the cycle path. We sat for ages watching the huge range of birds and walked along the pier to watch the fish!! Make this a stop on your journey by.

Nov 2020: What a lovely find!! We noticed Kaffe's Bright Orange decor on our many drive-bys. And decided to cycle from Ettalong beach to have breakfast there (building up to a much longer ride) as a nice mid point to a 10km cycle. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's right on the bike path and across the road is the train station and some car parking. There are 3 bike parking racks just outside. Great coffee (had 2!) And lovely eggs Benny :-)

Favourite cafe to pop into on my way to work .. always have a good chat with Dee as well as her friendly staff.

Homemade Pies, Muffins and Sausage rolls which are always a treat.

I’m down visiting my dad and have been walking to this cafe every morning, the best coffee I have ever had! The pies are to die for and my other favourite is the ham and cheese croissant! The owner always welcomes me with the brightest smile and is so lovely! Also love how the doggies get a little treat every time as well! Will definitely be back here every time I’m down this way! Will be sad I won’t be able to come down here and get my favourite coffee each day!

We dropped by in the morning and had a sausage roll. It was so good we went back later to try their pies and they were amazing. One of the best pies I've had in a while. Service was friendly too

The food was delicious and flavourful! We had the Chicken Burger which was fresh and tasty and the Curry Beef Pie which was meaty and spicy!!!!! We topped that off with a Mango Smoothie and Lime Milkshake. So long since I had a Lime Milkshake!!!
Service is awesome, you can tell there are alot of regulars as the staff know alot of the customers. Will definitely be back!!!

You know how every once in a while you encounter one of those unassuming little cafes that just blows your mind and instantly becomes a dear new favourite? Well, this is one of those. The new owners have turned this place into an Oasis. The new paint job, artworks and renovated space are all so welcoming and enjoyable. The service is super friendly, the owner is lovely. The coffee is great. The food is amazing. So far we've tried the chicken burger, the beef nachos, the bruschetta and the gelato (got to follow every meal with this) - and each are delicious and generous. But the cream of the crop so far are the home made pies and sausage rolls. Since the otherworldly Woy Woy Pie store closed a few years back (some of the best pies to ever grace this universe), followed by the closure of the pie store in Ettalong (which were pretty good and certainly far more decent than any other option around, including that joint in Umina that I will not name that claims to have the 'best pies in the universe' but in fact has among the worst), we have not had any decent options for pies here on the Peninsula (and believe me, I've tried them all). Until now! Kaffe.38 pies and sausage rolls are astoundingly good. The taste is immersing. The variations in taste are all so distinct. The pastry is spot on. I can't day enough good things about this cafe. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Regularly drop in to grab a coffee from here, staff are super friendly and actually remember you. Coffee and food are great when I grab something.

Wow awesome just had the best Beef Burger & chips going around, at a reasonable price. A bike ride from my place I will make the journey so good friendly staff. Well recommend.

The best pies ever and the friendliest people. Get in early especially for the Massaman Pie. And buy some lovely art!
