Salamander Cycles staff were very helpful and great to deal with. We took our bikes for service and have been looked after very well. Although it was during the high season, they have been very reasonable, professional and quick at their service. Surely recommended.

Very helpful staff and excellent service

Great service and knowledge and the prices are a lot better than you might expect. No pushy upselling, and based on the advice received I actually walked out with a cheaper bike then I had originally intended.

I was after a decent 27.5+ bike and - after wasting far too much time reading reviews in the internet trying to figure out what to get - decided to drop in.

Fast forward 3 days and I have a customised Norco Torrent 7.2 and am very glad I did. Reading all the reviews in the world didn't compare with just talking with someone who knows their stuff.

On a family holiday and decided to purchase a bike for our daughter. The shop assistant was very helpful and even dropped the bike off to our accommodation because our car was full. Our daughter loves her new bike.

Awesome knowledge in cycling,bikes and fitness

Did a hard day of riding, just to get a flat at the very end. Unfortunately my bike isn't a quick release, so I walked it to salamander cycles to get a tube, and an Alan key. I got a tube and he said that he would get the right sized Alan key if this one didn't fit, I went to my bike only to find that the Alan key didn't fit, so I went back 5 minutes later and was planning on exchanging it for a new bigger one after his promise, he gave me my money back and instead of giving me a new one, I heard "I don't have time for this". I walked out extremely dissatisfied and disappointed, because what could have been a 5 minute ride home, took 30 minutes to carry it instead.

Bleed my brakes and contaminated them will not be going back.

Shocking service , better off driving to Newcastle to someone that actually wants a your business
