Stirling Cottage

Magnificent location, scenery, food and service. A hidden gem that everyone should visit if driving past... if you don't stop and call in, it's your loss. Love this place !!!

Stirling Cottage is such a delightful place to visit.
The gardens are beautifully maintained, with many seating or grassed areas in the garden to enjoy your lunch. Or if you prefer the lovely cafe with indoor and outdoor dining.

A great location and venue. Can see why it's busy on a Friday early afternoon for lunch. Nice menu with quite a lot to choose from which comes from what looks to be a small kitchen. Service is polite and although there was a little bit of a wait for the food, it was understood noting the number of customers there. Food very tasty... we went for the nachos and Captains burger. Highlight of the visit was the stroll in the gardens and along the river afterwards. Easy parking close by. We'll visit again.

Food was not necessarily creative, however what was served was delicious - including the coffee.
The building and surrounds have lots to offer for all to explore, so a great stop for many age groups.

I love visiting this place, it is 40min from home and offers great food and drinks. The gardens are absolutley devine. Recently we had a 50th birthday gathering here as it was central to where everyone lives, I ordered some platters of food and they where a huge hit! Highly recommend visiting even if its just for a walk around the gardens, that said the food is also amazing! Thank you to the team, everyone really enjoyed their afternoon and lunch. We will all be back I am sure.

Simply wonderful. I have passed this place in Harvey for years & did not know it existed.
It is romantic. Family orientated. Gardens are beautiful with notice boards of interest around the gardens.
Stirling Cottage is beautiful. Very interesting buildings. Well worth a visit & allow time to explore.

Always stop here for a coffee when we pass through Harvey. Great chance to stretch the legs too with a walk through the beautiful gardens. The gardens are almost as pleasant as the staff who are always friendly and helpful.

We only visited, and we did not eat looks just lovely.

Beautiful gardens & nice walkway by the river.Had a lovely coffee & scrumptious savoury muffin outside on the deck looking out onto the gardens which are well kept.

Lovely food, customer service was excellent, felt very welcome to the place. Would come back to the place as a stopover on the way home or to Bunbury for coffee

Captain Stirlings old get away cottage great atmosphere and food

What an absolutely divine place to stop for lunch or a cuppa or just a stroll through the gardens. The coffee was terrific and the menu is amazing for such a small place. Food was yummy, generous and quick. Staff were lovely and friendly. The outdoor dining overlooking the river in lovely. As are the gardens and further down the back a manicured orchard. Well worth a visit.
