Coolaroo Hotel

Stayed here for a couple nights while working here in Melbourne. Room very clean, bed comfortable meals were delicious, service is great would highly recommend.

I've stayed at the Coolaroo hotel many times over the past 10 or 12 years and always been impressed with the friendly, helpful staff and recent upgraded rooms. The meals are generous and tasty ,the beds etc are so comfortable. The only downside is not having a proper, covered,seated smoking area for hotel guests. Ian. QLD.

The meals were great. Tia was super friendly. Very reasonable priced meals and there is a kids play area to keep them entertained.

We visited this venue tonight and could not fault , the service was amazing, good food 100/: spot on . The young lady behind the bar was outstanding, well done Lonny . We will definitely be back .

Just hosted my 25th birthday party and the whole process was amazing. Alex helped me organised everything from day 1! She was very informative and communicated everything I needed on time. On top of that the venue was gorgeous and the staff was super friendly. Thank you for everything coolaroo hotel. Have a happy holiday! 💕

A really elegent place to go for a simple wind up. Hospitality was on point , foods were just delicious, their room were well maintained.

Dropped in for a meal had a steak it was great and cooked how i asked for (medium rare) staff very attentive, nice cold beer and great TAB set up...yes i won... will definitely drop in again when I'm in the area highly recommend 👌

Friendly local pub, with great service by all the Staff. Meals served pretty quickly, (whenever I have been there). Usual pub fare, nice when you just a Parma & chips. A variety of food on both the Main Menu as well as the Specials. Good Selection on the Senior List also.

I just celebrated my 21st birthday on the weekend and I couldn’t recommend enough having your function here. Carmel was amazing and so accommodating in the preparation for my event. Courtney was amazing helping with everything before and day of the event, she set up everything better then I could have imagined and was so accommodating throughout the evening and made everything run smoothly. Highly recommend having your function here.

Often visit the Coolaroo Hotel for dinner - the bistro is always very accommodating, staff are always super friendly, portion sizes are always generous, and the food range is great + always tastes fantastic 🌟

Nice meals, reasonable prices. A playroom, and also area for toddlers.

We had our daughter’s 2nd birthday party on Sunday, and it was beyond amazing!!! Our hosts are lovely and GREAT!!
The party was excellent from beginning to end. Everyone had an amazing time. The level of organisation and venue present is Excellent. Cannot fault the hospitality of the team involved thank you team kitchen for accommodating vegetarian and non - vegetarian food
It was a great success, the guests were comfortable and the food was amazing as usual. The service was impeccable!
All 65 guests had an awesome time, and not one complaint. ☺

Great service from the hotel bar staff who go just that little bit extra to make it a nice stay.

Fantastic atmosphere and the staff are very attentive and polite.

Fantastic service!! We highly recommend, we had a horrible experience at another hotel and after driving 12 hours from Sydney we called the Coolaroo hotel and explained our situation at the hotel we originally booked, and they really accommodated us on such short notice.

Camal really made our trip pleasant in the hotel. The room (number 1) was nice and clean very spacious for 3x adults. Housekeeping comes daily and it wasn’t super early in the morning like most hotels which was amazing!

The lady at the bar (short black spikey hair) was lovely, she accommodated us with making some cocktails (which wasn’t on the cocktail list)

Overall, this hotel really made our Melbourne trip pleasant. If we were to ever come back to Melbourne, we would definitely be staying back at the Coolaroo Hotel!

We stayed at the nightcap at Coolaroo Hotel. The customer service was excellent, food was great and kids area was awesome. Highly recommend staying here and eating in the bistro. Everyone was highly accommodating.

My girlfriend & I just had dinner at the pub. Food was great & so was the service.

Courtney was very welcome & acknowledged us on more than one occasion.

The food and rooms were super cheap (the kids meals were $5), the service was actually so nice - they were really quick and apologised when things didn't go right, the rooms were pretty big and clean, the discounts were decent, and in general it was a good place.

Great family venue! Food is amazing and great value for money. Def worth making a booking for the Bistro! Esp if you want the kids area. $5 kids meals and an awesome kids area! Bring the whole family!
