The BEST place anywhere in Nelson Bay! Beyond thrilled at the service, menu choices, prices and vibe of this Cafe! Definitely coming here again and again. Loved it.

Nice little Cafe in the main strip of Nelson Bay.

Popped in for breakfast on a Friday before the long weekend and the cafe was busy but we were able to get a table easily.

The cafe has a inner city vibe and nice decor.

Even though the place was busy we had our food served up quickly and the coffee was amazing.

Best cafe in Nelson Bay! Every time we are on hols there has to be at least one dine in experience and several take away coffee's at Cafe Kin! We had brekky there two days ago and despite massive lines, we were served promptly. The food is delicious and the coffee is sensational. My youngest boy spilt his hot chocolate all over him and the ground and despite massive queues, the staff were over to clean it up and even made him a new one! I could have cried. That was just so kind of them. Places that go above and beyond like this are worth their weight in gold. Yes there are always queues at peak periods but that goes to show how fab they are! Love Cafe Kin!

One of our favourite local spots in the Bay for breakfast/brunch/lunch or just a coffee.

The decor is really nice and relaxing and the staff are really friendly.

The coffees are really good but the highlight for us is the food. In particular, the burger and the grilled barra are outstanding! (Well done to the chefs, great job as always!)

Such a nice place it was. The food was simply so good and the menu is all day menu so you can order anything at any time 👍
So many people working there to make sure you are served properly all time.
The place does have a nice vibe to it so easy recommendation.

We came here for breakfast before our drive back to Sydney. Our drinks came but there was some kind of mix up with the order and our food took forever, after I asked the staff they were so super apologetic and comped the food. When the food came out it was really super delicious, so despite the wait I thought the experience was still really good! The persian eggs were so pretty.

The coffee was also excellent, and quite unusual. Wish I had thought to ask what coffee they use!

The decor was nice and despite it being very busy school holiday time it was quite calm in there! I would visit again if I was in the area :)

Do yourself a favour and eat at this place. Oh my goodness the food was amazing. The prawn and scallop burger was out of this world yum - chunky prawns with the most amazing flavour, tender scallops with a lovely aioli and the tastiest buns. The beef burger was huge and the mustard and pickles were a standout. Extremely good sweet potato fries too. The kin espresso milkshake was so good. This place is worth the drive from Sydney - we will be back.

Came to Cafe Kin for breakfast whilst in town. Very happy with my choice to come here. Very reasonably priced menu in a quickie little cafe. Menu had plenty of options including the big breaky which I had. Served in a pan which was a little awkward to eat but not complaining, just different. Iced latte was great and both food and drinks served at unbelievable speed. All in all would highly recommend!

What a delightful cafe! The coffee and Chai Latte were exceptional, staff were super friendly, but what really was the icing on the cake or the sprinkled donut I left with, was the Chakalaka and corn bread.
The sweet and spiciness of this dish with the gorgeous corn bread were just divine!

Only went to meet a friend for coffee. Welcomed as I walked in, had a vacant table pointed out to me, placed my order all in one go. Coffee hot and good flavour. Served within minutes. Not rushed to drink up and leave. A very pleasant experience.

I just want to say THANKYOU for such an amazing experience for breakfast this morning. After having a rather unpleasant experience the night before for dinner at Laguna Blu Bar and dining, we were just wanting somewhere pleasant, but boy did this place exceed our expectations. The place is pretty with plants throughout.
Food was delicious and service was exceptional. They quickly accommodated my group of 9 with a table. They were helpful and prompt. It really made my hen's weekend. I had the prawn burger and it was so yummy!

The smashed avo on thick sliced toast - omg so much avo I couldn't finish it! Very good value.
The kitchen must run real slick because the food came out so quick and before the coffees. This never happens at other cafes!
Love the decor too.

Food is fresh and tasty and the staff are awesome

We came here every morning during our honeymoon and couldn’t recommend them highly enough! All menu items are clearly marked vegan/can be made vegan, absolutely delicious food and coffee, with some awesome sweet treats.
Buy the house chilli oil if you can - absolutely delicious!

Really wonderful friendly service even super early in the morning. The prices are worth it for what you get. Everything comes out super quickly and tastes really good. The play supports local artists with their art being decoration and for sale, so make sure to look on the walls. Love the cohesive yet antique jumbled look of the furniture. We have come here twice while on holidays and will endeavour to come back again!

The food was great & plenty of gluten free options. Highly recommend breakfast options of moroccan eggs & the plug. Coffee & chai were great. Cute atmosphere & friendly staff.

Staff were so accommodating, seated a group of 20 without a booking, meals were quick and delicious, coffee hit the spot just perfect. Love the cafe vibe
