Beautiful spot to visit if you are in Nelson Bay Area. It is worth going before or after going at the top of Mount Tomaree. The access is super easy, keep your left and just follow the signs once you are parked at the Tomaree National Park. There are plenty of car park spaces however it might be challenging in the middle of summer.

Wanted to do the gun emplacements walk from here. Got here early, car park was full. There was a coffee van that only brought more people to this car park and it took up one valuable car park spot. Yes it was Saturday morning. Only other car park was up the road and i wasn’t prepared to walk further than I needed to to the gun emplacements my hips are not the best. Very disappointed.
