Mod Thai

This restaurant is in the best place right in Shoal Bay Port Stephens. We decided to stop here for lunch and chill out, we used to live here and the view is just amazing. To all the staff at this restaurant keep up the good work. Sorry we were so hungry we forgot to take photos of our meals. We will add them next time we go there on our next stop. I would definitely recommend this great place and there food.

Lovely food, it was our second visit to Nelson bay area. This visit was to recall our great experience we had in April 2018, guess what taste of food didn't disappoint us in this visit as well.

Great lunch at the bay, the restaurant was very clean, warm and inviting. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Would recommend.

The most delicious fried whole fish with seafood salad. I shared it with my friend but next time we are ordering one each it was that tasty.
I shall return again whilst I'm in the area. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic tasty meal at Mod Thai last night. Spring rolls and chicken satay to start then chilli jam soft shell crab and chilli seafood stir fry with coconut rice - all delicious. The service was good with a young family member doing his best to wait on tables to help. He was very polite and charming. We will be back.

We have had several meals here ,, food is allways on point ,,,paying the bill on one occasion I thought the staff made a mistake on the charge ,, it was too cheap, hahaha

Popped in for a quick meal good food but just as important was the service! 2 young ladies running the floor / Orders were exceptional at their job done with smiles on their faces!

Had this for take away, we were not expecting much. However we were pleasantly surprised how tasty the veggie paid Thai and the seafood fry rice were. The vegetarian Pad Thai has a range of vegetables. Definitely recommend this place

Best lamb massaman we've ever had!!
The chicken pad oysters sauce overall was goof, however I prefer for the mushrooms to be cooked more.

The food tonight was fantastic. We had 2 seafood dishes and both were beautifully presented, and super fresh. My husband even thanked the chef he was so impressed! I tried the desert which was pretty good too. Will definitely go back!

Best pad see ew and pad Thai we have ever had fresh ingredients and a lot of flavour! Very nice green curry too.

We ordered takeaway Thai online and everything went smoothly. The time they said it would take to be ready was accurate and the food was ready when we picked it up.

Really good lunch specials and options for everyone from young kids to the adults. We were a large group of over 20 people and they catered to us easily with no issues. Food was great!

After our third time at Nelson bay we decided to stay at Shoal Bay Holiday Park. On our last day we went to Mod Thai and it was absolutely amazing. We ordered a Pad Kapow beef, a seafood stir fry dish and jasmine rice, it was delicious. I highly recommend stirfry dishes😁.
Definitely coming back on our next stay. 😃👌👍

Have had only great food at this place! Value for money and great service. I highly recommend going there, you won't be disappointed.

Under difficult circumstances the staff were great. We weren't in a hurry so everything was very relaxed. Everything was perfect
