Barcaldine Tourist Park

What wonderful hosts Fay and Keith are .. tonight was the first night guests were able to enjoy a camp oven stew with vegetables, damper with butter, apple pie and custard for dessert, all for $26 each. Delicious and plenty off. Great way to meet other travellers at the camp kitchen and camp fire. Well maintained large sites with lots of green grass. Great clean amenities. Would highly recommend this park .. can walk into town or drive 😄

Keith & Faye are fabulous hosts. The park is lovely with beautifully kept grass sites & spotless bathrooms. I would highly recommend staying here. Look forward to coming back

We stayed on powered van site, all amenities were clean and fresh, grass was well kept no need for ground sheet. This is the best park in that area and we owners Keith and Fay are upgrading so good things to come. We will recommend this to all travellers.

We were going to drive theough but this looked too good. Keith and Fay are new to the park as new owners and have really made us feel welcome with our 2 furbabies. Damper and cuppas around the fire. Tomorrow am breakkie burgers and dinner of stew and damper at your own cost but very reasonable. Would definitely come again and also recommend to all travellers.

Great park, very friendly staff just go to the park in March great young owners, they have burger nights and camp oven nights. Would highly recommend

An absolute gem. Friendly owners who were always willing to help. Clean and tidy amenities. The grounds were lush green grass. Didn't want to leave.

Beautifully kept park, some drive through sites, mostly all grassed. Good camp kitchen, communal fire. Hosts very accommodating when we weren’t sure of our movements. Very friendly too. Pouring rain all day, and only puddles here and there. Amenities very nice, clean, en-suite style which is nice in the cold weather. Handy to town - less than 5 minute drive, 20 minute walk.

Managers very welcoming. We were lucky enough to score a wide site for our van and get awning out, but I know others were complaining that they had narrow sites. Amenities great several shower toilet combos and clean. Had a great elderly bush poet every night which was enjoyable, went 2 nights.
Green grass was a bonus. Would return

We spent 6 nights here in March and loved it. The park was beautifully grasses (the best we've seen anywhere). The owners were lovely and friendly. Facilities were clean and had the combined shower/toilet/basin combos which we like. Plenty of washing machines etc. A bit further out of town but still walkable. Afternoon and evenings were so beautiful with paddocks and horses across the road to watch. Barcaldine was a lovely town to walk around and we found enough to do over 5 days. Thanks Richard and Helen for a lovely stay!

We have stayed here as a family twice and both times we were very pleased. First time was with our tent and the second in our new van. Sites are nice and green and tidy with some shade. The amenities are unisex self-contained shower/toilet rooms and are very clean, tidy and thoughtful for guests. We really enjoyed staying at this park and the staff were nice and helpful.

Cheap and cheerful accommodation, amazing green van sites and extremely friendly staff.

Stayed for a few days. Great park with green grass under feet. Considering its so hot and dry at the moment. Great amenities. Will be back.

My family and I stayed with these great people for 7days over the Easter break and had the best time. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the facilities were always clean and ready to use. Helen and Richard went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome, often stopping in for a chat and say hello. We will be going back for sure.

Richard and Helen made us very welcome. Cabin and grounds were beautiful and clean. Spotlessly clean and inviting. Would recommend this caravan park to any travellers who want a relaxing stay. Thank you for your hospitality Alison and Rob 😊😎

Great hosts, Helen and Rich run a wonderful facility. Well set out amenities. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy access into Town

Lovely park, we always stay here on our way through. Amenities are so clean and comfortable, great shower rose and lots of room. Good level grassy sites. Owners or managers very friendly and helpful. 👍👍👍👍
