Overlander Indian Restaurant

Yummy food and lovely service. We've been wanting to dine here for awhile now and finally had a chance too.. we will certainly be back.
My partner said it's the best butter chicken his ever had. 😊
We enjoyed the kebabs (entree) so good with the mint sauce.

I haven't had Indian in so long and I wish I could be closer to Overlander! Their food is divine, we wanted to finish it past the point of being full. The service was lovely too and the restaurant itself was really pretty. Can't recommend them enough :)

Hands down the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Their service was friendly and fast and the staff were very helpful with how much to order.

The Overlander Indian Restaurant needs to have its name visible from the street, or its name and logo at least on display at Reception. Our initial apprehension quickly abated when we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed friendly service throughout. The food is authentic, full of flavour, and very good value - the chicken Tikka Masala was delicious and the lamb Rogan Josh superb. All but one of the meals on the menu are gluten free. Highly recommended.

This place was recommended to us by several friends that had passed through. A lovely meal, huge serves and we took a lot away and ate the next day.

Lovely Indian restaurant. The food was authentic Indian food that was reasonably priced for the amount of food. For a week of cold winter nights it really hit the spot. The staff were lovely, very polite and always had a smile. I will be recommending this to all my friends.

A terrific Indian restaurant - possibly the best I’ve been to in Australia and I’ve been to a lot !

The staff are friendly and helpful. They were very patient with our large and unruly group. The food was absolutely wonderful - interesting flavours, immaturely cooked, a range of spice and a broad menu with many options. We had the vegetarian options and they were as good as it gets. On top of all that the prices were very reasonable.

If you’re in orange, do yourself a favour and head to Overlander

This is our go-to indian takeaway shop in Orange, they're very reliable in getting their meal orders accurate and always courteous. The food is consistently good.

Excellent curry house. Wide range of dishes available. Naan breads light and moist on the inside, crisp on the outside. Most dishes can be ordered by preferred heat or spice. Friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. Could easily miss it and walk past, as it is part of the motel, and looks like any other motel restaurant, but don't be fooled by the slightly "dated" or vintage look. well worth the visit!

Very nice! Authentic Indian-level spiciness. Take the hint, go for the mildest option if you’re not Indian! Needs better wines. Highly recommended

what a fantastic meal! Their on tray, naan and curries are best Highly recommended if you are visiting Orange and looking for a great Indian food. Great ambiance and their chicken 65 is a must try!

Very good food and service. I liked the Butter Chicken, very complex flavour. The nan is also very good, crispy and fresh from the Tandoor. I have eaten her many times and look forward to going again soon.

First time here- and first time eating Indian food. Absolutely amazing. The flavours make me wonder why I haven’t tried it before. The staff are so, so kind. Always returning a smile, and listening carefully. The wait time was much shorter than I expected- I can’t recommend it enough.

Amazing amazing food!!! Best naan weve ever had. My in-laws are obsessed with Indian food and they have Indian food all the time and they said that you have the best naan they’ve ever had too!!! Really good experience in this restaurant, staff were nice, and the food came out less than 30 minutes after we ordered. There was definitely no let down in this place!

Only thing was, if you could please make a sign saying “Overlander Indian Restaurant” instead of just “The Indian Restaurant”. It was a bit hard for us to find you haha

We just had a wonderful meal at Overlander Indian Restaurant! I wish this restaurant was nearer to where we live as we would go back again many times. If you are visiting Orange you must visit this restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming, the food delicious and very good value for money.

Amazing Indian food, I think it’s the best we’ve ever had 😳 prices are incredibly reasonable too - easily one of my favourite restaurants.

Tandoor lamb cutlets excellent! Nice ambience in restaurant and very busy with patrons eating in and takeouts being collected.

We chose spicy for curries. Palak paneer was so good.

We always come here when visiting Orange. Order any dish on the menu and you won't be disappointed!
