I would give it 7 stars if i could.
Toni and Martyn make this caravan park what it is... amazing hosts, we love it being a 50-plus park and pet friendly.
It's how caravan parks used to be... very reasonably priced and with friendly, helpful service with a smile.

Love the place so much, nice, calm and surround by nature. A must visit if you are planning to camping and fossicking.
Such a great pleasure to meet up with Martyn and Toni, sadly we couldn't stay longer.

A hidden gem of a caravan park...Toni and Martin the owners, are wonderful people. We stayed 3 nights in our motorhome while our elderly parents stayed in one of the cabins.
Toni made sure they had easy access, giving them a cabin with no steps and a shower where she had thoughtfully placed a shower seat for my mum..
The park is a little on the rustic side but that is the charm of this place..away from traffic and plenty of birds and animals. We will be back!!

Stayed in Possum cabin and it was so comfortable with reverse cycle aircon and dust free ( important as I have a dust allergy).
Happy hour around the fire was interesting as we compared our fossicking finds and swapped stories.
Sunday night Pot Luck Supper was fun as we tried all the different
dishes.
Toni & Martyn are genuine hosts and make you feel like part of the family.
We are actually booked to return soon providing my Husband's medical treatments/results are okay.

Owners are very friendly. You are made to feel like family. Pet friendly. Over 50's. Meet new and old friends at happy hour in the camp kitchen area. Don't need to travel to find your sapphires can do buckets here.

Our third visit Cabin clean, tidy and comfortable as always. They provide special shower gel for the hard water in the area. Hosts super friendly. When realised that aircon was cool only Martin went and got an electric heater to make sure we were not cold at night.
Happy hour and company to the usual high standard.

Toni and Martyn run a very quirky and happy camping and fossicking experience for us over 50s.Loved not being run over by kids on bikes or noisy children. Will return, Donnie 2 tooth.

A beautiful little, rustic caravan park with lovely hosts. The caretaker Tim always goes out of his way to help and will walk you through the fossicking process at their on-site mine. We've loved our stay and found some really nice gems. You can get your sapphires cut here as well or buy from them here.

My Dad stayed at this park and loved it. The owners Martin and Toni were willing to look after my Dads dog while he had a hospital visit lined up.. Truly great people by the sounds of it.
Thanks!

We arrived at Gemini Retreat and were made to feel right at home from the get go. Between all of the great team at GR ee were treated with kindness and great company, when having a go at the fossicking from their very own mine onsite we had the best time digging straight from the pay dirt and then lead through a colorful masterclass with Tim (caretake). Our son was overjoyed with finding such beautiful precious stones and we even had some good ones we can have cut and set at a later date. This is a must visit experience and we hope to be back soon to catch up with our new friends and spend some more time getting our hands dirty.
