Great clothing and footwear

don't buy anything from this store ibrought a pair of con verse shoes, for my daughters birthday which she has only worn 6times they are obviously faulty nut they say I need a receit when the code is on the box even if I had the recit they say that they would have to send them awaywhy ???when it obvious they faulty they are shoes not electronics so don't buy from this shop unless youwont to be ripped of for your hard earned money neverbuy from this shop as they only want your money &couldn't care less

First time going to Bobbies clothing today after looking elsewhere for a plain thick sloppy Joe to go under my motorcycle jacket. Bought one for $70. After walking out I realised I didn't try Kathmandu and ended up finding one there better suited to my needs. So 15 minutes after purchasing the Bobbies one I went back and explained what happened and apologised asking if I could return it for a refund. The friendly assistant said that was fine but she could only give me a credit. I asked to speak to the manager and explained it all to her and she told me the same thing, Credit only. I'm in my 60's and a bit old school and this response gave me quite a surprise. There's not really a lot in the shop for my age demographic so chances are I'm not going to find anything else in that store for me. Regardless of that I didn't think a shop like that would be so desperate to insist that I spend my hard earned money were they want me to. I mentioned again that it was 15 Minutes ago and she said I should have read the piece of paper stuck to the back of her computer screen and said it was a matter of integrity, lol. I would have thought it would have shown much more integrity to say we normally don't refund but as it was only about 15 minutes we will happily give you your money back. If I read every piece of paper in every shop I went to I'd waste way to much of my time. Yes she is correct in saying she has the right to do that, but I would have thought common sense would have prevailed, but as they say, common sense isn't common any more. The larger stores wouldn't blink at giving you a full refund but I usually will use a smaller retailer when possible to support small business and enjoy the friendly touch they can bring. Well on this occasion I was touched alright. One star from me for the young assistant.
