Christ Church Yankalilla with Shrine of Our Lady of Yankalilla

A quaint small functioning Anglican church famous for the apparition of the Virgin Mary appearing in 1994. Becoming a place of pilgrimage. Has beautiful stained glass windows and the stations of the cross. A small shrine on the side of the church. A spiritual experience awaits.

I saw Our Lady of Yankalilla very obviously because Father Nutter, and Judy also were able to see it very clearly and when my eyes adjusted also could see Our Lady there on the wall. Us who saw that decades ago were extremely lucky. She really was there however, apparently she is not there anymore. I am at PO Box 1092, Castlemaine, Vic. 3450. A retired Registered Nurse, Div. 1 previously Royal Darwin Hospital, also a torture victim, in an airport in Buenos Aires on the night of 9th. December, 2001 and then also every night of the week, different sort of torture for 7 1/2 weeks in Abadiania, Brazil. His name was Kerin Crowe and he worked in the same room as me, at the State Library of Victoria. I was a typist and he was the Assistant Accountant. Mr. Alan Brydon was the Accountant. Harvey Rug

Found the font which came from Salisbury cathedral. Wonderful people chatted to us. They were very helpful in my quest to find ancestors.

Must visit place if you want a spritual happiness. Its a small Church but powerfull in faith.

The church is maintained very well with heaps of candles and prayer request writing supplies.

Just driving past and popped in for a visit to stretch the legs. Quaint little church, quite beautiful with the artwork and also small adjacent gardens. Couple of locals who were about and the parish priest were very friendly and welcoming

Great place to pray and silence is enjoyable

It was a great experience to our family. I heard about this place from my friends. I was a strong believer of Mother Mary and decided to visit Yankalilla with my close friends and family. I thought it was a big church and environment but while we entered into the church, we got a special feeling of peace and felt Mother Mary's presence.
We were in a very pathetic situation that time and our mother mary sorted out our each and every needs, still doing. After that we recommended this place to many others and those who went there got miraculous changes in their life.
