Two Bobs Bakery

Purchased pain au chocolat and sour cherry pistachio danish a couple of days ago, both were deliciously flaky and had a hint of sourness. Loved it!
Purchased the sprouted wholemeal cob this morning and that was also delicious!

Bought a croissant, cinnamon bun, and banana loaf which were excellent, Got a good sourdough loaf. $9 for a medium sourdough is OK. it is an artisan bakery after all. Good coffee. Efficient service. But you have to get in early for the pastries. They do sell out. Would be great if they provided napkins too.

Love love love this bakery. The best, and only one as far as I know sourdough croissants. Buttery, crusty, slightly sour chewy sweet. Worth the drive to Nelson bay for. We heard people come here from overseas to try it. A reputation well deserved. Our only complaint is no croissants on Monday mornings. It’s a cruel withdrawal symptom situation. Bad Two Bob’s Monday funk. Otherwise yeah team! Thank you 🤩 🙏

I arrived just before opening time of 7:30am and the line of costumers wanted to buy bread is already long. That's how you know how popular this bread shop is. Buy the time I ordered, the line is twice as long behind me. Be early to avoid long lines or you will be waiting for a while for your turn to order. From chocolate croissant, to four cheese and cinnamon roll, everything is perfect and delicious. The best I had in my opinion. The coffee is great as well. Came back the next day for more different types of bread. Try it and you will not be disappointed.

Ignore the negative reviews. These guys make the best croissants I’ve ever tasted and that’s after travelling the world and eating them in France and all over Europe. The best I’d had before these was in a small artisan bakery in Copenhagen when we went to Noma. Those were amazing but these guys have taken them to the next level. Seriously amazing. Get in early to avoid disappointment and give the workers some slack it’s super busy and they do their best. Five stars.

There is a reason you need to get in early for these beautifully fresh flaky pastries! They are the best in town. Totally worth the early wake up. The sourdough croissant‘s literally melt in your mouth which was a favourite and the cinnamon buns were a close second !!!! They are super fresh and warm. Definitely a worthwhile visit! Service is friendly too. There is a mini deli with artesian goods next door which is also worth checking out. Very fairly priced too!

That pistachio and cherry scroll is literally the best thing I've ever tasted. Beats Lune and any I've had in Paris!!! Thought initially they were over baked but the dark part is where all the flavours is at. Drive a long way you won't be sorry. Get there early. PLEASE OPEN A SATELLITE STORE IN EAST SYDNEY!!!!!

Excellent coffee and delicious pastry. The customer service is fast and super friendly. Definitely try the pain out chocolate and the cinnamon bun. They also sell organic eggs. Go early in the morning as the pastry gets sold out very soon.

The bread and pastries are superb. In summer, as soon as it opens in the morning, the line is quite long, and most things sell out after a few hours. You don’t need to be a rocket surgeon to work out why that is. So … get in line, have a nice chat to everyone, and soon enough you’ll be in possession of some of the best bread money can buy. And make sure to get yourself a pain au chocolat or three. 👍🍀

Artisan bread at its finest. Daily specials are super popular, so get in early to avoid missing out. Coffee here is the best in Nelson Bay, but its not as exceptional as the bread. Friendly staff and outdoor seating make this simple shop a delight. Get amazing bread every morning (except Mondays).

Absolutely amazing bakery in town, a must visit when anywhere nearby! The pastries are super flaky and delicious, the staff are friendly and the coffee is strong. There is always a line up, but it moves quickly and it is so worth it. Prices are great as well, so do yourself a favour and go pay them a visit, your taste buds will thank you!

An amazing bakery in town. Little gem. The Sourcherry Pistachio is a must try. Definitely worth the early wake up in the winter cold.

This place needs to be rated higher. Nice pastries for the price you pay. Coffee was nice. Staff were friendly. Easy to order and simple experience. Definitely would come back again and recommend.

Great sourdough bakery and even better coffee! Best decaf and traditional espresso in the bay. Freshly ground shots, friendly staff. Especially love their bagels! A must when visiting Port Stephens.
