Avis Car and Truck Rental Albury

I have be hired cars from these guys a few times and many of the visitors to this area at my work have rented vehicles from here. The administration process to hire us easy and they do have an express service for regular customers. The cars are always clean and well maintained. The pricing is really good too. They have cars, vans and small trucks available.

Highly recommend hiring a vehicle from Avis Airport Albury. Ive recently had a few interactions with the team here due to being in a car accident and needing a rental for the meantime. Jenna at the front desk has been extremely helpful each time I've had to come in, had to call and email. She is friendly, helpful and always genuinely wanting to help. Customer service is hard to come by currently but Jenna and her manager have ensured I, as the customer, have been helped each time and have found ways to resolve any hiccups that have occurred on my end to guarantee a positive outcome. Very happy my insurance is affiliated with Avis because the team at the Albury Airport have made a really inconvenient situation quite manageable and easy. Thank you!!

The gentleman who served us was amazing. Very helpful.

I arrived to collect two cars and they were closed. We called several times including their after hours emergency breakdowns number. No one answered. We ended up catching a cab and then sometime later and after I texted them they called and in an accusing tone asked where we were. When I said what happened I got told they didn’t open til 1pm. I was not advised of this at any stage and if they didn’t open why let me book a car when they’re closed. They then tried to say I hadn’t given them my flight details which I had done two ways. They had texted and asked for them and then they had also called me two days prior. I asked if they could drop the car to me (10 mins drive) so I didn’t have to put my 2.5 yr and 12 week old baby in a cab again and they said no we don’t offer that service (no service at all it seems)! When I expressed my disappointment at having to try for 30 mins with my kids in cold wet weather I got told not my problem and hung up on. Prior to being hung up on I said my last call to them was on their doorstep at 12.58pm (no signage to say they’re not open and phone message just says they’re busy on a call which is only reason we kept trying) she argued they don’t open til 1.00pm.
I rate the attitude of this company as piss poor to be polite. There was no apology for allowing me to book a car when they’re closed or for not advising me that they wouldn’t be open til 1pm.

We hired a van on 24th April 2018 and returned next day morning ..they have charged me 455$ same day when i hired the van that's includes bond and next day again my account has been debited an another 97.99$ without any intimation and immediately i have called them. They irrespectively told me that something system error which would be refund after 3 working days .i waited almost 5 working days not yet credited the amount and the most disgusting part is again they have debited 248.5$ yesterday (01/05/2018)and responded with bleady rude behaviour to my call that the amount would be credited by tomorrow afternoon which means today,nothing was happen or credited since i hired the van..i highly DO NOT recommend people to deal with AVIS CARS/TRUCK RETALS please..i think they(AVIS)trying to play with people money ...
