A small camping and picnic area on the banks of the Freestone Creek. Visitors can gain access to Blue Pool via the Freestone Creek Walking Track. Depends what you like but found the spot pretty poor and unimpressive. It was very dry and the area surrounding it was pretty spoilt by campers with glass bottles and toilet paper everywhere. I cant understand why it doesnt have a longdrop with its popularity? The ground is rocky and not really suitable for there not to be one! Campers were noisy as well and not very considerate. The walk to blue pool was 2mins which was a benefit. Dont think id camp here again.
