Point Pilcher lookout

Beautiful view, off the track a little but still very accessible. Hat 3 tables, 1 under a little awning, and 2 in the open. Not busy or crowded, which was perfect to allow you to soak in the location.

The walk from Medlow Bath is approx 7km one way to Point Pilcher Lookout. The walk isn’t super difficult just some slopes at times. At the lookout there are toilets and two bbq tables. Certainly worth the walk even if you decide to go a bit closer rather then walk from Medlow Bath.

Great view, great mosey. Quiet spot. Easy (but long) walk from HWY, can drive right up though.

Lookout has covered tables with a toilet a very short walk away. The view is absolutely stunning and is a great place to stop for lunch on your way in and out of Sydney. It isn’t too far off the Great Western Highway and is definitely worth the short drive for such a wonderful view.

Beautiful wilderness lookout. Little bit off the road from the airfield but worth drive. Must visit if you are in the area.

Always stunning views in the blue mountains

Good for a walk or if the gates are open you are able to drive all the way, caution though the road can get quite rough. Beautiful views, a great peaceful lo to absorb the mountains.

Dirt track in decent enough condition for any car, rewarded with a spectacular view.

Road is really good at the moment, did the drive today and apart from a few big potholes my small car handled it no problem at all (I have tried twice in previous years and had to turn back). Great lookout, very quiet

Difficult to reach. Better to do with 4x4 in case of rain. But the view is very rewarding and it is nice and calm there. You also have a nice place to sit. Not very modern, but it all just works fine.

Great spot for a picnic, just take easy driving in after the rains cause of the pot holes around

Almost reluctant to let people know how good a view this is; so quiet compared with the well-known lookouts you get to from Blackheath.
