Wonderful service.

Bank staff are very helpful but sadly the bank let's them down. No deposits In auto teller machines. Auto tellers closed at night. No mobile phone tap and pay, instead the offer a ring. No after hours helpline. Understaffed. Probably the worst bank in the country. But the staff are nice.

One star is generous. I needed to break down some large notes to smaller ones for my business, I was busy so my husband offered to go down. He went into the olive street branch, where I have an account with Hume, where he asked the worker to exchange into smaller notes. She refused as he didn’t have an account there. My husband stated that I did and she said she didn’t care and told him to go elsewhere. He had our 1 and 2 year old with him, yet she had NO interest in any type of customer service or care for how much he had going on whilst trying to perform a simple task. Commbank and ANZ both did this for us without asking for names or proof of banking. Disgusting service. Hideous staff members. Sadly proving why people use the big four and dont support local. Some serious customer service and people skills should be implemented within this business.

I have opened an account with Hume bank and all my documents have been verified and approved by their system but they called me up after two weeks advising that they would close my account because they couldn't verify my documents. I guess i am lucky not to deposit any money into the new account otherwise would be a hassle to withdraw it.

Worst bank .. with the rudest staff , ( TINA). Is only there to make your life hard.

I can’t get help either with internet banking on a Saturday morning leaving me no access. I don’t pay fee’s for this to be caveman service.. pulling funds out asap

Applied for a home loan 3 years ago and they didn’t even have the decency to tell me I was rejected. Went elsewhere, secured the loan and have since paid back the loan in full. Worst customer service ever.
