Bek Cafe and Dessert Maribyrnong

I passed be.k hundreds of times over the years, going home from work and I had never gone in to try out their food. This evening I decided to go in and what a pleasant surprise. The Korean salad I had was delicious. The ingredients were good qaulity, fresh and full of flavour, not to mention it was a good size portion. I also had a Viet Salt coffee and it tasted amazing. What a hidden little gem this cafe is. I will definitely be back. Oh, I forgot to mention the prices are around $20. Great prices in today's world.

We were looking for a spot to have breakfast and found this little gem. The menu has a lot to choose from. the food was good and priced well. great staff friendly, nice little cosy spot inside or outside .

This is my go to asian fusion cafe in the West.
Luckily, they close late, when all other resturants/ cafes are closed.
My faves are their dishes such as the BBH and NCR.
I also love their taro latte. Its smooth and comforting especially on a rainy, chilly day.

Come to Bek Cafe as often as possible. The food is delicious and very well priced. This time, we ordered the bibimbap and the bun cha, both were super delicious and highly recommended. The kumquat red tea was good, a little too sweet but very flavourful. The entire order was less than 50 bucks.

Originally I thought this place was just a dessert place but surprisingly they had other light to small dinner options. The fried chicken was tender and juicy. The bulgogi potato gem wasn't really that great. The pasta was actually quite nice. The ribs was probably my favourite. The waiting time for the food was okay but I think they need extra staff for busier nights

For the two dishes we ordered, it was incredible.
Korean fried chicken was so crispy, well seasoned and juicy.. I'm surprised myself to say it was a very memorable fried chicken considering they're a dessert joint.
Donut dessert was unique and hits the spot :)

I believe they do need more training for customer service and speed in preparing the food. We waited 30-40min. But for us, worth it!

Affordable wide range of Asian dishes when hunting for late supper or desserts in the west side. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Timely service. And best of all, such huge platters you have plenty to take home!

DELICIOUS! Absolutely such a good experience when coming to this beautiful place. The service is beautiful, the chef even came out to ask when we wanted our breakfast desserts to come out. The hosts answered all questions with smiles and such hospitality.
If you want an experience, I would recommend this place. You can't go wrong with the whole menu.

This is a hidden gem!!! Truely amazing food! The range and variety is extensive. If you love Asian food go no further… friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Love love love

Our Favourite spot for desserts!
After a hard day at work or uni, this place is a favourite among my friends. Staff are always nice and attentive, and we love the fact they open til late bc of our busy schedules. Its our favourite spot to eat bingsoo and just talk for hours. I would recommend the Mango and Banana Snow Ice, and their French Toast! And why not add an Iced Vietnamese Coffee to pair the sweets. The staff are always happy to cater towards strength of coffee and sweetness of our Viet Ice coffees! :)

Super fast service, delicious food and open till late.

The fried chicken is super juicy and yummy. I ordered the swicy, it wasn't hot and hot too sweet which is what I love.

The creme brulee was super light and yummy. Would highly recommend this one. The Icecream was light as well.

The mango "mingsu" was amazing. Fresh mango pieces, delicious cheese cake and light fluffy ice. Generous servicing.

Came in with my partner looking for a good feed and coffee and this place definitely delivered! Low key vibes with delicious food and a chill atmosphere, I think we’ve found a new fav in the area.

Highly surprised by the great food quality of this Cafe. With my mate we entered with low expectations due to the place is kind of hidden and not so good looking from the outside. So wrong we were; amazing flavours, textures and presentation. Recommend it 100%

Great coffee. The food is amazing. If you're a bit of a foodie then this brekkie menu is going to make you very happy. Meals are beautifully presented and the service is excellent. Very happy friendly staff who always great my partner and I with a smile. Our go to on a Sunday morning walk down to the Maribyrnong river.

Gets pretty busy at night time!! But really good atmosphere and staff are kind and lovely! Worth the drive hahaha...a range of diff flavours of bingsu 😋

Awesome place. Had a the Singapore Salmon porridge and Bun Bo Hue which was great. The chefs really know what they're doing!

One of our faves. Consistently yummy food. The menu is quite extensive so we try a new dish every time. We've not tried the desserts but they look nice!
