Fish Creek Pharmacy Plus (plus general store)

A great little general store and a very well stocked pharmacy in one. Always friendly and helpful staff.

Love this store! Friendly service from all of the staff who go out of their way to be helpful and are always up for a chat. Exactly how shopping local should be.

We had the most unpleasant experience at this store on the weekend. We came in looking for some local produce and was advised they are no longer allowed to sell meat due to being aligned with the Pharmacy on the premises.. Seems weird, but whatever...
We started conversing with the older woman, whom we were told is owner/ manager of the general store. She went on to mention that she had a customer walk out of the store in a huff that week as he didnt agree with the political badge she was wearing. We went on to say, well, we dont agree with her either! My husband said to her that she probably shouldnt be wearing it, as its contentious and divisive. Well, Jekyll and Hyde appeared and this woman went absolutely insane! She verbally attacked my husband, not once, but twice, swearing and abusing him - all because he dared to not agree with her!.
We did not swear at her, nor did we verbally attack her in any way - all we said is that we didnt agree with her. We walked out laughing at her absurd behaviour as he was screaming insults at my husband, all at the same time she was trying to lock the doors thinking we were going to come back and attack her .. (whilst we were walking off laughing at her). It was totally unstable and bizzare behaviour. The Pharmacy on the same premises should be embarassed to be associated with her.
Anyway, jokes on her, as we are not day trippers to the area, we are locals that have recently moved to the area. We spend money in the area, and are very well connected with other locals and businesses, who have indicated that this woman is rather problematic to say the least. Needless to say, we wont return, and neither will many others that we have spoken to that will not tolerate this womans opinions or behaviour.
