IGA Local Grocer Surfside

We left home 2 years ago, in Central Queensland, and these are the best fish and chips we have had, it’s been a struggle to find anything decent, but these hit the mark, so fresh super tasty, Thankfully we finally found some that are delicious

Under new management. the former owners had developed a very loyal clientele, given the convenient location we thought we should give it a try. Fish and chips were excellent. so was the beer selection I will definately come back.

Super cheap and delicious burgers!! Had the cheeseburger and it cost $9.5! Also right near the beach so can cross the road and enjoy some yummy food

Fantastic customer service, super friendly and well priced. Got a thickshake for my daughter and a caramel slice, absolutely awesome!! 👌🏼 Tasted so good! Thank you! We’ll be back :)

Great for take away hamburgers, fish'n'chips, general goods and liquor store. Closes early though, around 7pm, 8pm Fridays. Would like it open a bit longer, thats all!
It has been taken over buy new people IGA, and great its open now until 7PM.

I have had four burgers (with the lot) from this cafe. All delicious. The owners seem to know everyone by name. Very friendly service. A hidden gem in Surfside.

I frequent this shop and i have to say this shop has jumped from 2 stars to 5 stars I have meet the new management and have meet the hole family. I have heard nothing but good things around surf side new shop. Good stuff and good luck to Bazz and his family.

Found this place after a beautiful swim at surf side beach. Best customer service, lovely men working and delicious fresh food! Will be back!
