YHA Murwillumbah

Spent only 2 nights but would definitely stay longer! Very nice and clean rooms and the owner is lovely. Went to rock pool and was not disappointed! Beautiful area with nice little Cafe and shops and most importantly Beautiful nature. Thank you

By far the best hostel I have stayed in. The owner is really friendly and knowledgeable with local information and things to do. It feels like a big family home. I met some nice backpackers. It's Riverside with free use of rubber rings plus nice views for relaxing on the balcony. Make sure you have a flick thru the book in the communal area for heaps of information. Thank you Tassie.

Tassie is lovely. This hostel is so clean with beautiful hardwood floors and artistic patterns. It beautifully over looks the lake too. Very peaceful happy vibe. Thanks Tassie.

Great place to stay to experience the quaint small town of murwillumbah.

The operator of the hostel tassie is friendly, helpful and has a laugh without being overbearing. Being a small hostel there is an intimacy to the place that lends itself to conversations with strangers without the overcommercialised party culture of byron.

Would definitely recommend this place to travellers or locals alike. For nature lovers there is tonnes of stuff to do within 30min drive.

Murwillumbah is a pretty rural place. This YHA is located at a river, so you can enjoy wonderful views. It's very clean and colourful. The owner of the hostel is lovely. Definitely worth a stay!

GO THERE! One of the most beautiful places to stay;) the backpacker is right by the river and it's just amazing:) always at 9 o'clock pm Tassie(the owner) brings free ice cream for everyone. You will definitly feel at home there:)
You can kayaking or just take a swim in the river or you can walk on the big mountain near there..there are really a lot of things to do there..or you can just chill on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view:)

Beautiful YHA in a lovely spot with view of Mount Warning on the Tweed River. Tassie is adorable and very helpful. Excellent knowledge of his region. Recommend it strongly!!!

Old, but clean, and nice owner, beautiful view. Enjoy the icecream time every 9pm.
