Gallery Motel

We were most impressed with the level of comfort, spaciousness, cleanliness, the finer details and friendly personal service from the owner at the Gallery Motel. It's close walking distance to the Tweed Gallery and The Tweed River House Restaurant were big plusses for us.

Susie is a great host. Always phone for the best deal on a room.
Our room (#10) was clean and fresh. It had a king-sized bed, the room was very spacious, well appointed, with a large bathroom and a separate toilet.
Fridge, microwave, tea/coffee, and some snacks for purchase in the room.
The centre of town is 5 minutes by car or 20 minute walk.
Highly recommend.

Amazingly perfect really. My wife and I travel a lot for business. This motel is the best we have ever stayed in. Lovely friendly owners, fantastic bed (king!) absurdly clean, spacious room And for $5 extra we got room 5 with the rainforest window).
Our room also had a toilet seperate from the bathroom. A nice touch.

Really enjoyed our stay here - it was very close to the Rail Trail, which was our primary reason for staying here and coming to the region. The hotel check in and out was easy, and they let us store our bikes inside the room too. I would stay here again.

Bruce was incredibly friendly and easy to deal with. The room was IMMACULATELY clean. Smelled so fresh and it was obvious who ever cleans the rooms takes pride in what they do. Rooms were modern and very well sized. There's a mini bar with a few items. Bed was comfy and the shower pressure great. Only stayed 2 nights and my room was serviced. Which was unexpected but very much appreciated after a long day at work. High speed internet with chromecast was also fantastic. The road is a bit noisy. (unfortunately nothing that the managers can do about that).

Definitely the best motel in Murwillumbah

Love it. An unfortunate event (flood) makes this little place a real gem. Everything brand new. Owners are lovely. A ways from the main town but local clubs have courtesy vehicles. Very clean and tidy. A great find for a business repeat traveller.

Bruce and Susie were so friendly and helpful during our stay. Cleaning staff were excellent and made us feel so welcome. Room was very clean.

Looking forward to our next trip north which always includes a stay at this little gem. Immaculate rooms, king size option is excellent, super friendly and helpful owners and perfect location for Tweed Regional Art Gallery with Margaret Olley Art Centre and exploring northern NSW.

Very spacious and comfortable rooms. The bed in the King Suite is super comfortable. Lovely staff on reception. This motel is well located for Tweed Gallery, Murwillumbah and surrounds. Very reasonable cost.

Great little hotel in Murwillumbah. Nice comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Very friendly and helpful owners. Booked twin, family and king rooms. All rooms have microwaves and usual amenities.
