Pomona Hotel

We had chicken schnitzel and a couple of beers a few weeks ago. They were so good. The prices are great, it was a lot nicer and cheaper than hotel in neighbouring town.

Friendly atmosphere and fantastic Burgers.

Best roast beef and veg I've had for years, great battered scallops will definitely visit again thanks for great service.

Great value Food and decent drink.

Pool in the back and rooms upstairs.

Cold beer, with a reasonable selection at a good price.

Laid back service and a nice outdoor area, aswell as a deck.

Food is very impressive, the famous steak is worth a trip. Quality meat, cooked well and with an unbelievably large serving size!

Local vibes in a historical country setting, definitely worth a visit.

Went for lunch on the spur of the moment. Wow!! We shared an entrees (8) of tempura prawns with sweet chili and aoili dip - piping hot, wonderful light crispy batter and tender juicy prawns. Absolutely yum. Then we both had their steak sandwich. And yes, the best we have ever had!! Steak was tender and not stringy, salad was fresh, relish and beetroot excellent, and chips were to die for! Tip: order a sauce from the steak selection - I had pepper sauce and was the best vale for $1 I have had in years. Well done guys, will definitely be back!

We went to the local for a new year's eve steak. It was the best steak we have eaten out all year. Staff were great food was great and price was fantastic.

Impressive restaraunt, delightful meal for 9 and was lunch for birthday girl. Faultless service, seafood choices were amazing, serving size was excellent. All diners happy as. Steaks were huge and perfect.

After living on the coast for 15yrs, I can't believe I haven't been to Pomona pub! Absolutely lovely place! Friendly staff, amazing meals, great relaxed atmosphere.

Amazing rump steak. So tender and massive. I've taken the picture after a few pieces off it. It nearly hung over the plate. A very definite coming here. Staff are friendly as well.

Best Rump steak ever. And value for money is fantastic. My wife had the char grilled prawns. They were huge and so tasty.

Id prefer to keep this to myself, but this is a great spot n a fantastic old Aussie pub. Do yourself a favour and have a cold beer here. 🍺

Nice country pub, with courtyard dining area; they stock craft brews from Eumundi such as the fabulous Diablo Ginger Beer.

Grand old country hotel with some great service from friendly staff a must stop if up that way.
