Ordered 4 lunch specials $15.00 each plus drinks.
Food was hot and full of flavour.
Good serving size and service was fast.
My boys were very satisfied when leaving with their full tummies.

This hands down is the best Chinese restaurant in Batemans bay., yes there is another Chinese restaurant in the bay, but don't waste your time.
Ok let's begin. Firstly the bad news, they are closed on Tuesdays, (tear)
Fantastic lunch specials, extremely fast service even when they are busy and under the pump, and busy they were. I was there to order lunch and the line to order was out the door. What really impressed me though was that i had ordered takeaway and I asked the girl serving for a ticket number and she replied, just tell me your name, which I did. I thought this will be good there is no way she will remember my name let alone which takeaway order belonged to me seeing as I can't seem to remember one person's name that I have just met.
10 minutes later I hear my name and my order was given to me. Wow that girl is amazing, she really blew me away.
So apart from the amazing staff, there is indoor and outdoor seating, a bathroom, Alcohol is served here. Wheelchair accessible parking and entry.
If you can't find street parking just park in free car park across the road.
I cannot recommend this place enough, there is no way you will be disappointed

Casual place, reasonable pricing compared to others in the area but not the best value I've seen overall. Quick service, easy menu, will update once the food comes out.

Update: Definitely still worth the 5 stars. Was not expecting the large portions but hey, who's gonna complain. And it's not like the larger portions were there to sway away from average tasting food, large portions, good taste, good variety. Is it good value for money? In the area it seems to be, that might just be the Wester Sydney in me though. I will recommend the San Dong chicken, crispy with a moist inside, with a bowl of sauce I can never remember to ask about.

The chicken wings were good to, can recommend them. Definitely choose the Special fried rice over the normal fried rice, comes with prawns and pork. Sizzling Szechuan or Sizzling Chili Lamb is also a big recommend, along with Deep Fried Chili Fillet Steak. If you're looking for more traditional Canton style, definitely dig into the menu and try things you haven't before, you can never go wrong.

We got the menu and ordered some takeaway. The order estimate was spot on. When we arrived it was ready to go. Well done! All the food was great. I must mention the chicken wings - they were hot and spicy. Will get them again for sure - you must try them. Will be back for more.

Delicious food. Unbeatably good. Every dish, every time. Chicken is white and high quality. Great selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. Service is fast and efficient. Parking is plentiful on the street(s) adjacent to the restaurant. Highly recommended Chinese restaurant - we'll be back for sure!

Simple ,clean and delicious with great service ,a family business for more than 20+ years! Loved by the locals.

Some of my reviews are scathing, but not this one. Since moving to the Bay six months ago my wife and I have become regulars. We go back because we like it there and the food is good.

The setting is most unpretentious. Nothing fancy and complimentary tap water comes in plastic cups. The wait staff are dressed like they are in their weekend knockabout clothes. But ... it doesn't matter because they excel with their food and service. They are always welcoming and have come to know us as regulars. The food is just the best, consistently. I recommend the satay chicken (has that distinct and yummy char grilled peanut sauce taste), and the sizzling beef. The fried rice is great too. The prawns in the fried rice are large and they are abundant. If you too like deep fried ice cream this is the place for vou. You can tell from the taste it is fresh, not pre-made.

I wrote 12 months ago a scathing review of the other Chinese restaurant just around the corner and I have not been back since that awful visit. They do not deserve your business but the New Golden Lake does.

Great food with reasonable price. Very friendly staffs, provided us the best attractions along the route. Recommend the salt and pepper chicken wing. Very satisfying.

Got the honey chicken with fried rice for $12.80 as per the lunch special. The servings were larger than expected and it was delicious. Definitely was eating more than I could. Would come again on my next trip to Bateman’s Bay.

I have dined in several times and the food is always top shelf.. the owners and waiters are friendly and helpful.
Last time we ate their it was takeaway only, but we were able to eat just outside at a table in the shade.
Once again the food was superb.. we had chicken wings, which is a lightly spicy deep fried chicken dish.
The filet steak meal is very nice as well.

What a gem of a place! Quick and delicious takeaway lunch special. You can't eat in but that's OK just take it over to the waterfront and grab a table. We had the sweet and sour chicken and the mongolian beef and we couldn't fault either of them. Very very good value for money. Lots of customers too so you know it's fresh.

Worst satay chinese meals Ive ever eaten really oily, awful orange colour and didnt even taste like satay at all! Fried rice was also not the best, it was just boiled rice and also gluggy with bits of beef and a few prawns added. Threw the entire three containers of food away, would never ever go back there!!!!

Best Chinese we've had in nearly 10 years of living in Australia. And great service. Low key, nothing fancy, just great food and a family run business. Highly recommended.

I usually pick up take away to take home to the family, but they always remember me and look after me with great service, a smile and tasty food.

Tried some other Chinese restaurant around this one and didn't like them. Coming from Sydney, I'm very fussy. But I was pleasantly surprised, food was tasty and fresh ingredients. Lady at the counter was friendly and food didn't take long to make. Will be back. Cheers for a good feed

Always a great meal, large range of dishes, cooked fresh.

Great Chinese in the heart of Batemans Bay. All the dishes we had were really good and the service was outstanding. A young lady cradled Emily wad literally rib of her feet being the only waitress on but she did such a good job very polite and nothing was a problem.

Combination short soup.
Very good.

Went by here after a weekend trip down the South Coast. And as someone coming from a Chinese background this little takeaway shop was a surprise! The food is really authentic and delicious! Will come back here again if I ever get a chance.
