He doesn’t waste time. He offers intelligent solutions - and options. He gives excellent advice. He’s very responsive in emergency service call-outs.

We’ve engaged him for the demolition of an old kitchen and the install of a new kitchen that we trebled in size. The new installation became complicated when we discovered an unexpected structural beam in a nib wall. This meant Steve needed to reroute complicated plumbing - including toilet pipes and hot water lines - in a bulkhead above the kitchen, fixing pipes overhead and tracking them in walls to accomodate a new steel beam. I was so happy we had Steve to do this. He was like a genius at work. He was extremely skilled and knowledgeable.

We’ve also brought Steve in to replace toilets and advise on legacy issues in an old home, such as testing water pressure and finding the reason for shower leaks in bathrooms that were built before we moved in.

Steve is equally good at service requests as he is at new build and renovation work. He’s very gracious and juggles very busy days to fit his clients in rapidly.

I found Steve though Hi Pages, he was very prompt in coming and giving me a quote to remove an old vanity and install a new one, plus change over the toilet cistern to a new one. His quote was quite resonable and I hired him for the job. He was able to do the job with only a few days notice, and kept me fully informed of his arrival when he was delayed. The job was completed in a resonable time, and any problems he had, he would consult with me and we came to a discision together on how to proceed.
I found him very friendly and he went above and beyond with his service.
I would highly recommend him to any person requiring a plumber. The new vanity looks amazing, I could not be happier.

Steve turned up quickly to fix a toilet leak. He tried a part which turned out not to be quite the right fitting. He returned a day or so latter with the correct part to make amends without quarrel or charge. Works perfectly.

We are a plumbing company ourselves and were called in as warranty agents to carry out works for Colab Plumbing's customer. There were minor materials not covered under the warranty claim which should of been installed upon the install which Colab Plumbing did. We notified Steve (owner) of this and he advised ok to proceed and carry out works and send him the invoice for the parts. This was done however no payment has been received for the materials installed. We have spoken with Steve several times and have been advised he will get this paid however nothing has come through and calls are now not being answered etc. The account is more then 12 months overdue. SUPPLIERS BE AWARE this company doesn't pay accounts they have agreed to pay for.
