Bonnie Doon Lakeside Leisure Resort

Stayed here 3 nights in H2 overlooking the lake. Cabin was clean, beds are comfy. Amazing park,Amazing lake def recommend booking a cabin and taking the ski or boat and family. Take fishing rods to fish were jumping at us. kids loved the swimming pool, basketball court, play ground. The staff are so friendly especially jef he’s an asset to the park and helpful and they are constantly on the ground waving hello and maintaining the place, there’s also camera’s you feel so safe and at peace there. Will def be back.

Stayed here 3 nights in an unpowered campsite. A really nicely maintained holiday park, loads of activities available - mini golf, table tennis and swimming pool to name a few. Lovely scenery and the sites are in good condition. Bathroom facilities are good and clean. Safe and family friendly. It’s about 20 minutes drive from Mansfield where you will find lots of nice shops, cafes and restaurants. This holiday park is clearly looked after with love and care.

Stayed in the penthouse for a few nights with friends. Good facilities. See website for more info.
With the obvious water activities on the Lake, the park itself has plenty of recreation such as a tennis court, a gym, sauna, pool, billiards, table tennis. Can hire equipment from the office for a refundable cash amount. Tap water is clean and drinkable. Great park for a getaway. The only thing is that there aren't any serious hiking places nearby if that's what you want. Nearest one I could find was the cathedral ranges which is an hour drive from Bonnie Doon.

What a great place with very friendly staff especially the manager who went out of his way showing me around the park very family environment with clean and presentable park thoroughly recommend this park will be back for sure

Loved it. Amenities were a bit disappointing ( not very clean). Care takers are very friendly and accommodating. Would love to go back there.

Great holiday park! We went in late Feb 2023 and the amenities were limited which we were not aware of prior to arriving. We found out when we couldn't access the games room (locked doors) that they are open outside of school holidays. Nice spot on the lake and well maintained park. The playground and jumping pillow was a hit with my little one. We didnt have time for the mini golf but it looked pretty good. We would like to return again!

I had a group of friends stay at the park for my birthday, and we used the function room. Allan and Managers Tristan and Toni were so accommodating and very friendly and went above & beyond to make our time there fabulous. The camp facilities were clean and the function room with the open fire was perfect. We have all planned to come back next year and look forward to using the new outdoor fire pit being built.
I also highly recommend the Penthouse if you want something special, was nice sitting on the verandah looking at the view of the lake & surrounds.

As a family of five we had been looking for a holiday spot to take the boat for quite a while and we have now found that spot! Always look forward to every trip and can't wait until the next one. Resort management Toni and Tristan go above and beyond with everything you need which makes our stay even better. Thanks Lakeside Resort for all of our family holiday memories.

We booked a cabin and 3 sites facing the lake, all were much better than the pictures, what a beautiful place, we're glad we found this resort highly recommend it and, it's many facilities for the whole family. We tried fishing and everything. All of our group were very impressed with the Manager Alan and the time he took to visit all the sites in the park regularly . If you want to get away to a place where the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly this is it. Plus the fire pits were fantastic, another bonus. Our whole team loved it here, this will be a regular stay for us from now on. Thanks!!

We thought it was so awesome firstly because of the staff, they were so friendly and helpful even with the smallest of requests. The park has been kept so clean from the front office right down to the waters edge. The weather has been perfect and the lake was great for kayaking and fishing. The grandkids played on the jumping castle and adventure play grounds for had so much fun it was hard to get them back to camp for dinner.

Perfect place to get down for a short trip...has all the necessities such as bathrooms and a kitchen, both of which are looked after very well. The non-powered sites we stay on give off some pretty good views of the lake which is a bonus and are perfect sizes. Overall amazing!

We had another Easter camping trip here with 30 people over the 5 days again this year.

It is a great spot for for the kids to safely run around and play. Great access to the water for the boats and ski's even with the lake at low water levels. Nice grassed camping area and all the facilities you would need.

Has the best time ever last year! Cant wait to go next month! We always go here, about 2-3 times a year. The staff know us well and we always bring about 20+ people with us! Can’t wait to see you again Bonnie Doon!

Absolutely cannot fault the place! We came on a quiet weekend out of the blue and the owner was so lovely. Told us we could spread out on the campsites if we really wanted as they weren’t packed. Great facilities, toilets, hot showers, pool and mini golf. Will be coming back.

Great place. Friendly people,amenities clean, all around the park it well maintained. Plenty of activities for the whole family to do..And it has a huge parking area down the back where you can leave your boats and it has plenty of security

Loved our stay here. Our cabin was perfectly located by the lake and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the facilities the park had to offer - the pool, tennis courts, jumping pillow, playground, table tennis and cinema screenings as well as kayaking on the lake in the parks' new kayaks (that you can hire out). This park has a lot to offer families. The management is very friendly and accommodating, they care about who is in their park and what your needs are. They are very receptive to feedback and genuinely care about the services they offer. They have a lot of plans for the future of the park too. Can't wait to come back!

I'm here over a weekends in between of my business trip from Melbourne to Sydney.

It was a right choice to breakaway from busy city lifestyle; enjoyed the lakeside view from the resort, peaceful night sleep with fresh clean air.

This helps me feel energized for an early morning run along the lake. Good sweat with nice scenery. :)

The owner, Alan is very approachable and friendly. Will not disturbing your quiet moment unless you're in doubts and need helps which just a phone call away.
