Merriwa Olympic Pool

Travelling through Merriwa we swam in the Olympic pool. Lovely clean pool with new bathrooms and very pleasant young lady at reception. Affordable and a most enjoyable experience.

Very clean water. Not crowded at all, great for lap swimming and recreational activities. Price 5$.

Great pool, shallow area is undercover and deep isnt - a good combo if you dont have sunscreen, Mens changeroom is large and has multiple showers including a hot one I think. However too many dead bugs in the pool even on opening - bring goggles.

Swimming pool is not being cleaned, remnants of fecice spotted floating in both paddle pool and main pool, would like to report the attendant Jason is too over weight to adequately act as a lifeguard and lied about the charges when I came with my kids. Told me $10 for a small family (1adult 2 kids) but charged my $15 on eftpos. I will not be attending this pool again and recommend questioning its operation.
