Parking was easy and the shop with tables out front, clean and welcoming.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We took our time to decide what we wanted given the different attractive selection on offer.

We ended up ordering the lovers combo and three kids fish n chips. The portion size were very generous and well priced - the food was lovely.

We ll definitely visit again.

As visitors staying in Cabarita, our fish & chips and potato scallops were the best we have had in ages. The crumbed cod was cooked to perfection and was very succulent. The shoestring chips were perfectly cooked and nicely salted. The homemade potato scallops were AMAZING and topped off a wonderful meal. Kudos to the owner and staff of this magic Fish & Chip shop in beautiful Cabarita Beach 🤤😋

Went here for lunch after the beach and it was AMAZING. I got the Mexican salad bowl, which was top notch, such good calamari, the tortilla was so yum and the salad was fresh. My friend got the crumbed barramundi, which was the freshest and most succulent he’d ever had, as well as an amazing dim sim. Great service and atmosphere as well. Can’t wait to come back!!

Probably the best fish and chips in Caba. Might ever be the best on Tweed Coast. Fish portions aren't huge, but they are the best quality. Ask what is fresh and caught wild (savage). Had some fresh, battered, wild Flathead... I cannot remember the last time I so enjoyed fish... The shoestring chips are great too, and apparently cooked in fresh oil. Yep, I was impressed, so I'd recommend The Stunned Mullet to anyone looking for quality fish and chips.

This place is fantastic. Fast, friendly service and delicious food that is not overpriced ($33 for the combo which includes 2 fish, 8 calamari, 2 pineapple fritters and a good amount of chips). BYO as well so you can bring your favourite wine for out the front. Look forward to returning!

This is a great place, and from the number of people picking up takeaway as well as the number of other patrons each time we've been there, I can see that everyone agrees with us. Sea scallops are fantastic, as are fish tacos. And everything else we've eaten there.

The fish and chip is superb!
Batter isnt oily and the fish is fresh.

We literally just finished this meal & I had to call them to say thank you because it was SO DELICIOUS!!! Fish & sweet potato wedges cooked to perfection & the salad was so fresh & tasty - lucky we’ve got leftovers for lunch tomorrow :) we’ll be back for sure!

Quite possibly the best ever fish and chips, ever! Fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Chips were faultless even down to the salt to chip ratio. However the potato cakes (potato scallops to the locals) were sublime, how they made such a simple food element so good is incredible. If you are ever in Cabarita Beach it is a must.

We travel down from Brisbane to visit this place! Always fresh, hot and tasty. Especially love their salt and pepper squid. A must visit if you're in the area. It's great to get takeaway and take it up to the headland to enjoy with a great view.

Lovely fresh seafood with a few unique options on the menu, and some solid merch. The potato scallops are 10/10. I’ll be back.

My brother and I had a late lunch at the Stunned Mullet today. Absolutely fantastic!

We were served by a polite young guy, who talked us through the menu and gave us recommendations.

We finished up ordering crumbed cod and potato twisters (which came with aioli dressing).

The cod was cooked to perfection - moist, full of flavour, and the potato twisters (thickly cut chips, like potato wedges) were also very nice.

We ate at a bar table out the front of the shop, but there were plenty of regular tables and chairs available, too.

Would highly recommend The Stunned Mullet and will definitely be coming back.

Drove 3 hours from QLD to see Ball Park Music live, stopped here for lunch. Would drive 3 hours again just for the food.
