I renewed my license online but had to attend the office for an eye test. Popped after work, it only took a minute. Walked in, was given the eye test & walked out again. Everyone is so helpful & friendly. Top marks 👍

I have been deciding which service centres I should visit to renew my drivers licence between Castle Hill and Richmond that will be less time waiting in the queue so that I get it done and out as soon as I can. I came across some reviews on Castle Hill Centre and read through a good amount of comments/reviews and decided to go with Richmond with fewer complains and more friendly. A few people mentioned Chatswood centre was good, which I agreed as I have used that centre too.

I planned to arrive as soon as they open, but couldn’t, so got there slightly later just before 9am. The centre was not that busy but has those first lots waiting to be served. The directional guy at the front enquired and provided a ticket, he wasn’t that friendly but probably just because he's like that (no smile, no greeting but just do what he's there to do). So I thought back comments on Castle Hill centre and thought, just get it done and leave. The centre is considerably quite modern which made the waiting time quite comfortable. In the end, I got out within half an hour including the comfortable waiting time. The counter staff was very friendly and proceed very quickly and informed everything I need to know after this. Was quite impressive compare to the centre I used to visit in the past (Blacktown) which was more than half an hour waiting in the queue even before getting in, once got in, have to stand at the computer to process something and still have to wait among packed waiting area that barely have any seats left to wait. So, the centre is quite impressive with their services and manner. I would recommend this centre if its not too much out of the way for any who planned to go to one. The arrival time is also important, you might get early rush on the first round where people wait to be the first to be served just like the bank. Second round entry is not too bad :)

Had an issue with a letter i received but LISA went over and beyond in helping sort out the problem great service fabulous customer service.

Passed my driving test in first attempt today. Adam was my instructor and I’m so lucky to have him as my instructor today. He was patient and clear in his instructions. English isn’t my first language, so he repeated the instructions and was very clear and slow in doing so.

Every single time I go to Service NSW at Richmond, I am so well looked after.
The customer service is exceptional! Thank you guys!

A small tip to people taking their test it doesnt matter where you take your test as long as you adhere to the rules of driving you will pass, spend an hour and read the handbook, you will know how to drive in Australia especially to the migrants. I dint finish the book the first time I failed the test. But when I read the book completely it gave me more confidence to drive.

I have passed my driving test yesterday. Lady instructor was so calm during the whole test and gave all instructions in a clear way which helped me a lot. She hasn’t exaggerated when I did couple of mistakes . I was anxious before the test but she made me feel confident. Thanks 😊

I applied for a change of name, and they were very helpful from the beginning till the end.10 out of 10.

I just passed my driving test today from here. I got Karen. She was the best. Although I was driving way below speed limit sometimes. She didn't mark me down and rather inform me of the speed limit. God bless you Karen.

I just done my driving test today and to be honest I thought I'd fail because of my nerves and how stressed I was, but I managed to pass it on my first go! I was so lucky to have Adam as my instructor! He was beyond nice and understanding and he made me feel comfortable all throughout my test! I would also like to thank him for telling off that grumpy & rude truck driver! Not many people will do that, especially with someone like me who is from a different country. I've had countless encounters of people being rude and negative for that reason and how Adam stepped up on that bloke just made my day! Thank you for the wonderful experience! Always a pleasure dealing with Richmond RTA. From getting my L's to getting my P plates today! Also I'd like to commend the service from other staffs too, they were very friendly, efficient & accomodating and how they have prioritized the elderly people without having to wait for the line was amazing!

Very appreciative of the staff member who processed transfer of registration after recent death of my mother. Understanding and showed empathy, for which I was most grateful.

Very friendly, helpful and efficient. From the greeting staff at the front door to the courteous and friendly desk staff. Minimal waiting, comfy seating and aircon. Makes a mundane task an enjoyable experience 😊

The revamped modern office is great, easy parking, super helpful staff, and very short wait times.... Heaps of other Gov department could learn a lesson or two from Richmond.
