Glenroy Cottages & Campground

I have been here many times, however yesterday was the first time I ran into the owner, Rosemary. I have read the numerous negative reviews about Rosemary, and just wanted to say that she was an absolutely lovely person! Maybe if you would respect the person's property you were staying on there wouldn't be a problem.

Drove through the gates on Easter Sunday without a prior booking. Wanted to see if we could camp for the night with our 3 young kids. This lovely lady who was very friendly allowed us to set up camp near her house by the river. She told us we help ourselves to the branches by the river to help get our fire started. It was our first time camping and we are very thankful for being allowed to stay there.
We drove 4hrs from Sydney to a different place booked in Oberon where we found the entire campsite was actually a farm where we couldn’t take 1 step without stepping in huge piles of poop. We obviously couldn’t camp there so we decided to start the 4hr drive back home when we stumbled across Glenroy cottages. Thank you so much for saving the day! My kids would have been so sad to drive all the way back home without a camping experience. The place was stunning and we can’t wait to come back

We had a lovely experience at the Glenroy Cottages, we stayed in the 2 bedroom Cabin and was very well equipped with oven, stove, microwave and even electric blankets! It needed some deep cleaning (spider webs and dust) but otherwise the views are beautiful and the location is very peaceful. The river and surroundings are gorgeous and clean . The reviews about the host Rosemary are not correct, she was nice, accommodating and friendly. If you follow the rules you will not have any issues. She was always ready to assist and answering our texts. Payments are done by bank transfer only. Thank you Rosemary for a lovely weekend.

Lovely campsite at Coxs River. It's selfcontained. Showers are cold. There are lots of cows and calves that are curious about the guests. And Rosemary, the owner, was very friendly to us. She runs a business on her own. Nice, how she does. Reading the other reviews about the behaviour of Rosemary l can only say: l don't recognize her in those words. Just follow the rules and clean up butts and bottlecaps. It's mess too, you know.

Stayed 2 nights over Easter camping, a little unsure what we needed to do when we arrived at the gate, but simply found a spot and dropped our envelope with our money, and car details etc in the honesty box at the gate.

Had a wonderful time at the Kingfisher cottage at Glenroy Cottages. Rosemary was kind enough to take our last minute booking and was very responsive by text. When we got there, Rosemary made us feel extremely welcome and was very friendly before letting us get acquainted with the cottage. The cottage itself was far above our expectations. It had everything we could possibly need, and there was such an attention to detail. We will definitely be coming back!

Stopped by with my daughter. It was absolutely beautiful. Lovely cows, and some fishing, and a little bush walk… gorgeous place. Will return.

Rosemary (the owner) is sensational... i have stayed at these properties for the last 8 years and its always a lovely stay.. the accommodation is lovely. Great facilities and Rosemary is very flexible in organising our timings arriving on the property... xx

A very nice spot for camping, with toilets and showers. You can have a campfire and splash in the creek. Handy to the highway. The owner, Rosemary, was lovely.

Just a Beautiful Peaceful Spot by the River. You can camp right up to it. Sleep by the sound of the river. Sit by a camp fire. We just Loved it & can't wait to go again.

Beautiful spot for camping with this kids

A quick and easy drive from the top of the mountains. Plenty of room to spread out, clean river. Very standard amenities but they do the job.

A beautiful spot that offers an up close experience with nature. There is a shower and toilet facility and a fire pit to keep you warm. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved it. Beautiful stream, fires allowed and the toilets and showers were fantastic. Will be coming back.
