Surfside Primary School

Mostly excellent school from our experience (2016-2018+), great teaching staff - our son appears quite happy and his learning is progressing well.

It was a good school

I attending this school several years back, but have a sibling who goes here. It has quite a problem with bullying and the staff/faculty seem to have trouble handling it. Facilities are good and the kitchen gives kids basic life skills for their future. Teaching is good(varies), but supporting systems are average to poor.

great teachers but bullying problem and i also heard from my sibling that the new principle banned running like not inside but outside like who does that? I used to go there and it has changed lots since I left.

good school but very few good staff members, one staff member tried to get me and my friends to forgive someonewho told our friend to off her self

We have just removed our children from Surfside Primary. Please do your research, talk to other parents and members of the community, you will find this school has a not so great reputation.

Concerns with questions being asked within the classroom. Principal would not allow us to have a meeting to discuss the issues. Principal refuses to communicate with parents, is extremely unprofessional and quite literally doesn’t care about any concerns parents have.

We have lodged an official complaint with The Department Of Education and encourage others who have experienced similar to also make a complaint.

The school is good
