Social Grounds Cafe

We went for a veryvearly breakfast just after 6:30 am. Ordered Avocado toast, home/made granola and fried egg with Halumi. Coffee was great and food tasted fantastic. Service and friendliness if staff top notch!

Me and my partner are travelling up on holiday and as a barista myself, I’m always looking for cool little cafes. We stumbled across social grounds and were so pleased. The food was beautiful, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. It was refreshing to find a cafe that ticks all the boxes. We were pleased that it didn’t feel like we were paying a mortgage for food. The coffee was one of the smoothest I’ve had in a long time. Brownie points for the playlist that was playing too.

Absolutely love this place! Best spiced eggs I've ever had,loved the dukkah the right amount of spice and all the herbs. Thick slice of sourdough to go with the eggs as well. Vegetarian roll is more substantial that I thought and tastes very wholesome. Loved all the flavours of the roll. Highly recommend the house hash. Iced latte was good but the iced coffee blows it away - get thrived coffee

If you’re a foodie, this is the place to go. A simple avocado on toast breakfast was an explosion of flavours, with the ducca, herbs and homemade relish.
Great coffee - they even serve a flight of coffee!! Didn’t try it but sounds interesting.

Just stopping off here for a quick coffee with friends. Service was fast and friendly. Help yourself to water. Sit inside in the small dark room or on the semi outside veranda area. Lovely. Not busy when we were there. Would go again.

Had the social roll which is a pimped up bacon and egg roll with cheese, onion and tomato relish delicious also has a choice of adding a hash brown, wife had eggs poached on toast delicious eggs nice and runny in the middle coffee also great. Staff were awesome very friendly place clean and tidy looked a bit old looking but definitely a great place for a bite to eat. Check it out do yourself a favour

The best coffee, tea and food in town! Cafe has dedicated staff who know their trade. So grateful for such a cafe to be in Port. Price of food and drink are reasonable. Atmosphere is lovely and the music upbeat. Love love this cafe
Can park at the back of the building although isn’t wheelchair access from there. Can get wheelchairs in through the front door although toilets aren’t wheelchair chair accessible due to the age of the building.

On our way to Victoria, had a flat white soy coffee here and it was phenomenal! One of the best coffees and I'm very picky. So glad we checked this place out, 10 stars to the young lady who made my coffee yesterday morning 😊

Such a lovely place! The staff is super friendly, the cafe interior is great and the food delicious.
I tried the veggie burger and it was so good! One of the best veggie burgers I ever had. And the muffins are yummy as well. Will definitely come back if I have the chance.

I had "spiced eggs" for breakfast: 2 poached eggs, avo, Halloumi and mushrooms, over a toasted bread, all covered with hot chili and dukkah.. amazing 🤩 the staff was very nice too!

Really good breakfast and coffee - plus the sittings in the patio area has a very relaxing Bali like vibe with a nice breeze! Loved the house spiced eggs from the menu - the portobello mushrooms were so juicy and flavourful. Uploading photos of our foods and also the menus.

Cute cafe. Love the environment and decor. Friendly staff and nice coffee too. The FOOD was just amazing! I ordered a vegan board, the freshness and the many different flavours were unimaginable. Even the simplest food was made to taste so great! I spent the whole meal deciding which food was my favourite- I simply could not.
