Two of us came to Il Porto in Avondale Heights on a Friday night for dinner. The pizza was so delicious and of utmost high quality so we were very impressed and pleased with that. Furthermore, the customer service was excellent and the owners of the restaurant genuinely cared about the customer experience, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. 5/5 stars for Il Porto. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting or living in the area.

Really loved the pizza. I don't know if the meat is sustainable but it's definitely fresh! One of the best pizzas I've tasted. Love supporting local.

Finally an authentic Italian pizzeria serving up fresh pizza with delicious toppings. You know it's good pizza when the main attraction is the base, it's perfectly thin with the right amount of charred crust and delicious sauce for that sweet and sour flavour. The toppings are fresh, using simple good quality ingredients and not overdoing it. The service is excellent with reasonable prices and good value for the quality of pizza served. Seating is limited so I recommend booking on busier nights.

Quite possibly the best and freshest pizza in Melbourne which is a massive call considering it is the foodies capital. Highly recommend, great personal service and delicious food.

After recently moving to the area and trying multiple pizza places without any success, stumbled upon I’ll Porto one summer night, and was absolutely blown away by their pizzas. And…. Not only are the pizzas authentic Italian style and delicious, the staff are friendly and genuinely love what they do. Thank you for a wonderful meal and evening. We’ll be back FOR SURE!!!! 10/10

I would travel hours to eat at Il Porto if I ever had to. I refuse to order pizza from anywhere else & any of the times I did, I have been so disappointed. I have taken many friends to eat in & everybody has raved about the pizzas. Generally I order in weekly & dine in once or twice a month. Their staff are wonderful, their service is quick & I always leave happier.

I always order a Focaccia Bianca & Margherita, my ex partner’s favourite is the Salumeria. My friends have ordered other pizzas & all have been just as incredible! The crust on their pizzas is out of this world. Pizzas are always cooked perfectly & their toppings are high quality. You can tell these guys cook with love, I will never stop raving about their food & just how amazing Il Porto is.

If you haven’t, go & try their pizzas. You are missing out on the best pizzas you will have in your lifetime if you don’t. Not to mention an incredible authentic Italian dine in experience with their beautiful staff.

Fantastic food ingredients tasted fresh and full of flavour feels authentic Italian and the staff are very outgoing and engaging. I will definitely be coming back to this amazing hidden gem in the west!

We got Capriciosa, Villani and Vegana Pizzas! Finally a great tiramisù, made by the real ingredients.
Everything was amazing!

Our favourite pizza in Melbourne. Their caprese is also the BEST, even the ones we had in Italy didn't come close.
The dough is thin, delicious and has a slight chew. Both food and service are fantastic and consistent.
We come here often and they never disappoint.

feel like pizza gets the love and care it deserves but here the ingredients and the exceptional quality of the base shine - from the tomato sauce (spectacular) to the saltiness of the olives and the smokiness of the ham - it was all gorgeous! Thank you for a perfect early dinner!

The pizza here is fantastic.Ffeels like you have stepped into Italy when you taste it. Surprised there's not more hype about Il Porto, could be the location, but as a local, could not be happier having such beautiful pizza nearby!

Absolutely the best pizza I've ever had. The food is absolutely excellent and all the staff are extremely nice and welcoming. Even during a blackout they did everything to make sure we enjoyed our food and went above and beyond. Amazing food and amazing people.

I love this place. Awesome authentic Italian pizzas and super friendly staff. Very different to the traditional Aussie style pizzas, but that's a good thing in my eyes. If you are dining in, the bruschetta is amazing and they have some beautiful, interesting wines. Keep up the great work!
