Best spot for Breakkie, right on the beach.
Best Iced coffee. They don't add any ice to pad out the drink
Big breakfast was huge, and the eggs Benny was great as well

Dined at Avoca Sands Cafe last week for lunch and was impressed by the courteous and helpful staff and the fantastic food. I sampled the Calamari & Prawn Salad with Sweet Potato Chips - and my companion had the Quesadilla. All was delicious and served with a surprisingly good, fresh salad. Will definitely be returning with others now that I've sampled the menu and I found pricing quite reasonable and the sheltered view over the beach was great. Many thanks for the highlight of my day. *Highly recommended.

Great spot.
This place does not pretend to be anything more than it is.
And what it is, is a great cafe, serving good food in a wonderful location.
We reserved a table to be sure we could dine there after an hour and forty drive from N/West Sydney.
The table was waiting, on the main deck, menus were given within a minute of sitting down, we ordered drinks which arrived minutes later, when we ordered our food.
The cafe was packed, and the staffed seemed well drilled. Our meals arrived in about 30 minutes or so, well cooked and delicious. I thought for a packed restaurant, 30 minutes was pretty good.
We spent 90 minutes at the table, talking and looking at the beach. What a great lunch.
Yes it is more expensive than some other places with similar food, but I guess the overheads in that premium location need to be paid for, and I'll be back for more, because it is one of the best casual cafes I've been to, and with its location, it's hard to go past.
Coffee is pretty good too.

Food good and very tasty, bread a bit rock like but other than that the foods really good.
Coffee is also very good.

We stop here on our morning walks. They make the best ice lattes! Oh and I wish I took a photo of their fruit loaf toast! It has almonds in it! Delicious.

We had breakfast here today and about 3 weeks ago, was sooo good. Generous serves, perfectly cooked eggs, great flavours. Awesome coffee and you cannot get a better view anywhere on the Coast.

Being a coffee tart...at various locations around Australia, There's some you remember and some you'll hate, the staff always are friendly, efficient, and always helpful to make your stay there welcoming, pet friendly (outside area,) the food is excellent to date, early opening to get that coffee hit or breakie or lunch to eat in or take away, a place to watch the surfers,dolphins and a odd whale in season , sunrise here is best as am a early riser if am in town, meet some of the colourful characters of the area... that hang out or past through this cafe..I wasn't a fan of the new ..order and pay at the table at first..but now am a fan ,,waiting in a small line at a counter is good still but you jump a few spots when the cafe gets busy on weekends on the new system..I hope you get a chance to give it a try..!..ps it's A Licenced place as it can serve alcohol.. atm Cafe closes around 3pm

What a stunning spot in this nice casual cafe. Reasonable prices and the food was excellent !! Had the mushroom risotto and fish tacos. Wine prices were also reasonable. A great spot to relax and enjoy well made food.

My friend and l went with my dog Frankie today for a lunch at this wonderful cafe.
Food is delicious and my go to is the prawn and squid salad which always has a generous amount of both seafoods accompanied with a very tasty salad. I highly recommend it.
We hadJess take care of us who was a lovely, friendly girl who showed Frankie with a lot of attention which she lapped up very happily.
One of my fav places to go where the food, view and staff are top notch.

These guys are the best!!! Even when they are under the pump ( this morning) they produce amazing coffee and delicious food well worth the minimal wait time. Always served with a smile. Thanks so much everyone at Avoca Sands we will definitely be back.

This is the best cafe in Avoca. The staff are always smiling and happy, even first thing in the morning. Carl makes the best coffee for miles around and really knows his stuff when it comes to the different types of coffee beans. Their food is totally scrumptious, I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten there.

I have been coming here for over 10 years and love it but I have had to order avo smash for more than 2 years because there is a lack of new dishes introduced and it’s boring getting the same old dishes I love avo smash but do like a variety of choice and atm I rotate between 3 dishes
I look forward to seeing new dishes on the menu
