Amaroo Motel

Very clean rooms and friendly service on arrival for our group. Excellent value for money and convenient to the brewery.
Great follow up for a couple of our group who left belongings in their rooms which were promptly posted back.
Recommend and will stay again.

Great place for a stop over or even a busy weekend in Tumut!
Clean, not super old.
Get amongst the motel community and talk to people.
Can be a little noisy when late arrivals come in but you’ll live.

A nice stop over on the way home from the Victorian high country! Room was modern and shower had great water pressure! The manager could not have been more accommodating when we asked if we could have a quiet room away from the street. Breakfast is an absolute treat and all staff were warm and friendly. Recommend the Oriental Hotel for dinner (make sure you book as it gets packed!) Great place to stay!

Have stayed here a few times now and is a lovely place to stay, the king rooms are large and very clean and comfortable. Liz at reception was fantastic and extremely helpful.

Very friendly and understanding staff. Little expensive but it is Tumut in the Snowy Mountains. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hot water took a little time to get up to heat but when it did it was good. Also has undercover parking which was great because it was raining when I booked in. within walking distance of the Tumut River Brewing Co. And yes I would stay there again.

We checked in late but the receptionist was very helpful. The rooms are very clean and made up to a very good standard. Single vehicle parking out the front of each room and there is a fruitful lemon tree in the central courtyard. Buffet breakfast was fine with the usual continental, poached eggs, bacon and sausage. Very hi tech toaster for lovers of cooked bread. Friendly staff.

My wife and I have stayed on 2 other occasions over the last few years.
This Motel is definitely a 4 Star rating the same care and customer service still exists where the Motel is spotless all over and the hot cooked breakfast is excellent.
You are within a very short walk to the Tumut shops and cafes.
We would recommend anyone looking for great accommodation this is certainly the place to stay.
On this occasion we had 3 wonderful nights and we will certainly be back when our Travels find us in Tumut.
Thanks to the Manager for a most enjoyable stay.

Great little spot, 5 minute walk to town. Rooms were really clean and smelled great. Will definitely stay again. Parking is a bit tight though.

Excellent rooms it has been updated and isn't as the outside impression gives off.

Beautiful remodeled room. Just amazing. Attention to every guests needs from plated to wine glasses. Clean and comfortable beds. Super impressed. Highly recommend

Very friendly and helpful staff - we have a camper-trailer and were able to park it in a shady protected spot. The rooms are modern and clean - obviously recently renovated and well-maintained. We booked an executive room so had the buffet breakfast which was fresh and abundant. Will definitely stay again when next in Tumut!

A wonderful, friendly place, great for a short notice stay. Comfy bed, very quiet, air-conditioning, very very clean bathrooms (renovated at some point recently). Lovely staff, zero complaints. Would reccomend!

A great place. Convenient location close to the town centre, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. The only thing that I wasn't satisfied with is breakfast that was provided (included in the room price). Too little choice. It would be better if there were more varieties of meals provided (such as porridge, pancakes etc).

Bed was very comfortable, it was my wife's birthday and they made her a very special breakfast. Thank you
