Commercial Hotel

There is a great atmosphere at this recently reopened hotel. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. There was so much to look at that we took ages to actually sit down and order. I loved all the sculptures in the garden. The food was really a secondary concern but it was delicious. Two of my friends had the open steak sandwich- they could easily have had one between them - they were HUGE!! I had the chicken schnitzel with a really nice salad and fantastically tasty chips. Do yourself a favour and head here asap. It’s open Wednesday to Sunday

A wonderful little place in the gorgeous surrounds of the Avenue of Honour in Kingston. The pub itself is gorgeous, the staff were so wonderfully helpful, polite and sweet and the food was amazing (and so reasonably priced!). Thank you for looking after my family on ANZAC Day 2021, we'll see you again soon!

Went to the commercial hotel for lunch there was 40 of us on a bus trip meals were pre ordered and came on time when we arrived. everyone enjoyed their meal and dessert.
We had a talk on the local area which was very good and informative.

The food was very nice, and great value too. The dining room is friendly and interesting. Sue was a great hostess and cook. the whole atmosphere is like an old countrypub should be. nice fire, interesting bit and pieces, friendly people and no pretentious bull.... would recommend it as a nice venue for a quiet meal, or a special function. could do with more prominemt signage on the way there,but once there you dont care. thanks Sue for a great day.

Great food compliments to the chef the pub had such a great feel to it friendly and relaxed yet the service staff were on point very efficient and friendly

Great place, friendly people. The menu is currently growing and the pub has made a wonderful come back after being closed for 12 years. Smart business practices bringing the menu back slowly. Pavlova! Yum!

I've been driving past for ages and decided to pop in sometime. The need for a good coffee was strong today so I popped in. Friendly staff, great coffee. I will have to test drive a meal but today, sitting on a couch having a quiet coffee hit the spot.

Went to Kingston Hotel for lunch, meals were amazing and staff were very friendly. This was my second visit to Kingston Hotel and have already organised two more visits in the future

Worth a visit .Inside and out lots to see including vintage car etc .Good meals and great staff .Also enjoy beautiful Avenue of Honour in main street and Kingston snowbound stand

Great pub classic food and fantastic atmosphere. Will go back for sure!

Great spot for coffee & cake, or a delicious meal. Make sure go go through to the dining area/art gallery at the back of the bar, a hidden gem!

Visited with the family on Sunday. Great selection of really good pizzas with great service.

Sensational little pub, great outside area and loved all the wood heaters while watching footy on the couch after dinner.

Well worth the drive thru the 286 Elm trees down the Avenue of honour.
